Memahami makna teks fungsional pendek dan teks monolog sederhana
berbentuk Recount dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
Kompetensi Dasar :
Merespon makna dalam teks monolog sederhana yang menggunakan ragam
bahasa lisan secara akurat, lancar dan berterima dalam berbagai konteks
kehidupan sehari-hari dalam teks Recount.
Tujuan Pembelajaran:
Berlatih menggunakan pola kalimat dan kosa kata yang sesuai dengan topic
untuk menjawab pertanyaan pertanyaan yang berhubungan dengan teks
monolog berbentuk Recount.
I. Indikator : Merespon wacana monolog lisan berbentuk Recount dengan cara:
1. melengkapi paragraf rumpang.
2. menemukan informasi tertentu/informasi faktual
3. menemukan generic structure (kerangka teks)
II. Materi : Text Recount
III. Metode : Genre Based Approach / Oral Cycle dan Modelling
IV. Langkah-Langkah Pembelajaran:
a. Kegiatan Awal
- Salam dan tegur sapa
- Siswa diberi informasi tentang indikator pembelajaran yang harus dikuasai
b. Kegiatan Inti
BKOF (Building Knowledge of the Field)
- Siswa mengurutkan kata berdasar alphabet.
- Siswa mencari arti kata dalam kamus.
- Siswa memberi tekanan yg tepat pada kata yang tersedia.
- Siswa mengucapkan kata yg sudah ada tekanannya.
MOT (Modeling of the Text)
- Siswa mendengarkan text recount.
- Siswa mengisi paragraph dengan kata yang tepat.
- Siswa menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan.
- Siswa mempelajari generic structure(struktur text) recount text.
- Siswa menyebutkan bagian- bagian generic structure dari recount text.

Ms. Anita had a business trip to Jakarta. She asked her secretary to reserve for a flight to
Jakarta at 8:15 a.m. because the meeting was at 10:30 a.m.
She went to the airport by taxi which it took for twenty minutes. She went to the custom and
hurriedly ran through gate five to catch the plane.
A stewardess helped her find the seat. A few minutes later a young man sat beside her.
The young man introduced himself. He told her that he was a sailor and he could speak
English. Ms. Anita was glad to see that. Then they made a commitment to use English to communicate
during the flight. It was really a wonderful trip.

RENCANA PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN Satuan Pendidikan : MA Hasyim Asy’ari Mata Pelajaran : Bahasa Inggris Kelas/Semester : X/1 Pertemuan ke : 1 Alokasi Waktu : 2 x 45 menit Standar Kompetensi : Listening Memahami makna teks fungsional pendek dan teks monolog sederhana berbentuk Recount dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kompetensi Dasar : Merespon makna dalam teks monolog sederhana yang menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan secara akurat, lancar dan berterima dalam berbagai konteks kehidupan sehari-hari dalam teks Recount. Tujuan Pembelajaran: Berlatih menggunakan pola kalimat dan kosa kata yang sesuai dengan topic untuk menjawab pertanyaan pertanyaan yang berhubungan dengan teks monolog berbentuk Recount. I. Indikator : Merespon wacana monolog lisan berbentuk Recount dengan cara: 1. melengkapi paragraf rumpang. 2. menemukan informasi tertentu/informasi faktual 3. menemukan generic structure (kerangka teks) II. Materi : Text Recount III. Metode : Genre Based Approach / Oral Cycle dan Modelling IV. Langkah-Langkah Pembelajaran: a. Kegiatan Awal - Salam dan tegur sapa - Siswa diberi informasi tentang indikator pembelajaran yang harus dikuasai b. Kegiatan Inti BKOF (Building Knowledge of the Field) - Siswa mengurutkan kata berdasar alphabet. - Siswa mencari arti kata dalam kamus. - Siswa memberi tekanan yg tepat pada kata yang tersedia. - Siswa mengucapkan kata yg sudah ada tekanannya. MOT (Modeling of the Text) - Siswa mendengarkan text recount. - Siswa mengisi paragraph dengan kata yang tepat. - Siswa menjawab pertanyaan yang diberikan. - Siswa mempelajari generic structure(struktur text) recount text. - Siswa menyebutkan bagian- bagian generic structure dari recount text. c. Kegiatan Akhir Siswa membaca teks yang baru didengar dengan keras V. Alat/Bahan/Sumber Belajar Alat/Bahan : Text recount Sumber : Kurikulum 2004 VI. Penilaian 14

He told her that he was a (7) … and he could speak English. Ms. Anita was glad to see that. Then they made a commitment to use English to communicate (8) … the flight. It was really a wonderful trip. Activity 7 Study the text to answer the following questions ! Ms. Anita had a business trip to Jakarta. She asked her secretary to reserve for a flight to Jakarta at 8:15 a.m. because the meeting was at 10:30 a.m. She went to the airport by taxi which it took for twenty minutes. She went to the custom and hurriedly ran through gate five to catch the plane. A stewardess helped her find the seat. A few minutes later a young man sat beside her. The young man introduced himself. He told her that he was a sailor and he could speak English. Ms. Anita was glad to see that. Then they made a commitment to use English to communicate during the flight.
