Chapter 6. Jesus healed a paralyzed or paralytic, but how?
Verse 1. What is a paralyzed or paralytic or paralysis(pəræ’ləsɪs)? Today's
cutting-edge science and technology to heal
Stroke1) is a cerebrovascular disease. In the oriental medical school, stroke is
often referred to ‘tetraplegia(tètrəplíːdʒiə, 중풍, 中風) or ‘wind(풍, 風)’, and in the
western medial school, it is referred to paralyzed or paralytic or paralysis2).
There are two kinds of stroke. One is the cerebral hemorrhage(héməridƷ), in
which blood vessels become narrowed and burst to abnormally bleeding,
causing hemorrhagic(hèmərǽdƷik) stroke. The other is the cerebral infarction, in
which blood vessels are blocked, causing brain tissues or neurons to
necrosis3).

Cerebral hemorrhage is treated by surgery but not so easy to heal, and
cerebral infarction should be treated with continuous medication.

In any case, once the brain is hurt, it is impossible to recover 100% by the
current medical treatment. In November 2009, I had a cerebral infarction
which caused the paralyzed of limbs and the numbness of the tongue, and
been hospitalized and fortunately recovered by medication, but the level of
the recovery is still about 85%.
However, in any case, if you feel any other abnormal symptoms than usual,
you can arrive at the hospital within 2~4 hours and take a CT-MRI-fMRI. If
you detect which part is bleeding or blocked, you can recover 95%. In the
past, paralyzed old people come to the hospital, but when I was taken to the
hospital, I found that these days had nothing to do with ages. There are lots
of paralytic patients from 20 to 80 ages.
As a result of stroke, motor, sensory, and time-spatial area of the cerebral
cortex are damaged, thus neurons there lead to necrosis or lose functions,
then limbs are paralyzed. Men usually use the left brain, so when a stroke
occurs in the left brain, then right limbs are paralyzed, and women are the
opposite. In addition, if spinal nerves become abnormal, then the spinal cord
is damaged, so they cannot stand up.

In addition, there is Parkinson's disease4). This is a kind of neurodegenerative

For the first time in 1817, Parkinson's disease was first known by an English
doctor named James Parkinson, who called them ‘trembling paralysis’ for
patients with characteristic features such as hand tremors, muscle stiffness,
and loss of postural(pɑ’ːs-turəl) reflexes(ri’ːfleks). Parkinson's disease is caused by the
gradual loss of dopamine, a type of neurotransmitter distributed in the
cerebral cortex, which function originally triggers muscle contraction and
relaxation freely. If this symptom persists, synapses lose their functions which
receive signals from neurons and release neurotransmitters. In the end, the
loss of the function of the neurons and synapses becomes paralytic
Parkinson's disease.
In addition, there are typical nerve disorders such as Alzheimer's
disease(amnesia or dementia)5) and ALS(Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)6). ALS is
a muscular atrophy(æ’trəfi) caused by the death of motor neurons.

mentioned before, there would be:
