Virus
 A virus is a submicroscopic infectious agent that replicates
only inside the living cells of an organism. Viruses infect all life
forms, from animals and plants to microorganisms, including
bacteria and archaea. Viruses are found in almost every
ecosystem on Earth and are the most numerous type of
biological entity.
Viruses that infect children
 Polio virus:
 Poliovirus is a highly contagious virus infection that is transmitted between
children through breathing or food, and can also be transmitted through
direct contact with an infected child.
 Rota virus:
 Rotavirus is one of the most common viruses that infect
children, as it causes illness in the system due to intestinal
infections, and it is the primary cause of diarrhea and
poisoning in children and infants.
The most common viruses among the benefits
 Viral encephalitis
 Human papillomavirus (HPV)
Encephalitis often causes mild signs and symptoms similar to
influenza, such as fever, headache, confused thinking, or problems
with senses or movement, or in other cases no symptoms at all.
Human papillomavirus (HPV)
It is a very common virus, and there are more than a
hundred types of this virus. It is transmitted through
sexual intercourse and infects the anogenital area.
While others can, in rare cases, develop cancers of the
cervix, vulva, vagina, and anus.
The most common viruses among the benefits
 Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
HIV is a sexually transmitted infection. This virus
destroys the human immune system, thus
reducing the body's ability to resist germs that
cause diseases.
It is spread through contact with contaminated
blood or from mother to son during pregnancy,
childbirth, or breastfeeding.
Yellow fever is a viral disease that
destroys body tissues, especially the
kidneys and liver. Yellow pigments
accumulate in the skin until the skin
becomes yellow.
Yellow fever virus
The most famous types of viruses
 The World Health Organization stated that Nipah virus and CORONA.
 Nipah virus (NiV) is a zoonotic virus, which means it can spread between animals and humans.
Fruit bats, also called flying foxes, are the animal reservoir for NiV in nature. Nipah virus is also
known to cause disease in pigs and humans. NiV infection is associated with encephalitis
(swelling of the brain) and can cause mild to severe illness and even death. Outbreaks occur
almost annually in parts of Asia, especially Bangladesh and India.

Electron micrographic image of Nipah virus
Coronavirus is a group of viruses that can cause diseases
such as the common cold, severe acute respiratory
syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome
(MERS) . Most people infected with Covid-19 experience
mild to moderate symptoms and can recover on their
own. But Covid-19 can be a serious illness and lead to
death in some cases
