Assessment Children were very engaged in the celebration. They particularly enjoyed learing
about new games and singing their grandparents’ favorite songs. It came as a
shock to them, that their grandparents were also young and, just like them, went
to kindergarten. This activity cemented the relationship between children and
their grandparents. Grandparents were pleasantly surprised at how much their
grandchildren knew about their lives.
