1. PLN – Web 2.0My Journey so far… At times it seemed overwhelming but week by week experiencing new technology was exciting and inspiring. Now the challenge is to invent ways of using it and passing on my knowledge.
2. Week 1 - Blogging Baby steps.. Setting up my own blog & joining with others to participate, comment and share. I’m way over my head! Week 2 –Communication Tools ‘Twitter’, ‘tweeting’ & all things ‘Ning’
3. Week 3 – Professional Learning FUSE, virtual cafes and State Library… So much to investigate Week 4 – Learning & teaching tools Google Docs, Flickr, Wallwisher & Mind maps. Things are getting exciting
4. Week 5 – Digital Citizenship The Wizard of Apps – my favourite so far. Being responsible, copyright issues & safe surfing. Week 6 – Learning & Teaching Tools Edmodo, YouTube,Shelfari & Library thing. Creating a virtual bookshelf was my favourite.
5. Week 7 – Research Tools Plagiarism, Ergo, Zoho, Zotero, Diigo, Search Engines. All great things to know for researching. Week 8 – Presentation Tools Animoto, Glogster, Voice Thread, Toon Doo, Wikis, Wordle & Tagxedo … just to name a few. All so much fun to learn!
6. Week 9 – Pedagogy or Technology Incorporating technology into curriculum. To use or not to use technology. Week 10 – Gaming for Learning Social gaming… is this really learning?
7. Week 11 – Presentation Tools Slideshare, docstoc, Scribd, Storyz, Goodle Lit Trips. The world is at our fingertips! Week 12 – Digital Story PhotoStory 3, MovieMakerand digital stories. Great for presentations!
