Editor's Notes
Volume
Voice tone, refers to how your voice is heard and the meaning that is interpreted from others, beyond just the spoken word. Using the appropriate volume and tone, can make a big difference in how someone is perceived by others.
If the tone or volume of your voice is loud or high it may perceive as angry or aggressive. If it is soft or low it may indicate sadness or calmness.
Projection
It is a technique employed to command respect and attention, as when a teacher talks to a class, or simply to be heard clearly, as used by an actor in a theatre.
When you’re speaking quickly, initially it is exciting for the audience, but after a minute or two, it stops being stimulating and becomes overwhelming.
When you are speaking slowly, it can grab the attention of the audience and help them process every word, but an entire talk at a slow pace will bore your audience: while waiting for you to get to the point they will lose interest.
We are going to tackle the explanations from the 2012 DPWH and LTO Manual of Road Traffic Signs and Pavement Markings
An example of regulatory signs are speed limit, No U-Turn, One-Way, No Parking, and Road Closed signs. They regulate the speed and flow of traffic and parking.
The general principle that establishes who has the right to go first is called "right of way" or "priority". It establishes who has the right to use the conflicting part of the road and who has to wait until the other does so. The vehicle that does not need to wait is said to "have the right of way" or to "have priority."
