8. MISSION
Our mission to serves as a resource centre
and aims to develop a comprehensive
collection of books and journals useful for
students and faculty of the college and
provides an efficient dissemination of
knowledge.

9. OBJECTIVES
• To acquire, organize and update the library collection to
support teaching-learning process.
• To encourage students to read beyond the requirements
of the curriculum.
• To work with faculty in integrating information skills,
knowledge of information sources, and the use of
technology in accessing information needed to strengthen
their instruction, research and extension.
• To provide instruction and assistance in the effective use
of learning resources / services.

10. Library Committee
Library committee is formed in the beginning of every academic year
by the principal in consultation with the staff members. For addition
to library collection and other decisions are taken by the library
Committee twice in an academic year.

Weakness
• No Wi Fi facility in library and Reading Hall
• Need two more staff to run library in shift and during holidays
• Need more space for stack area for building future collection
• Library reading hall ambiance after shifting
• Lack of utilization of Library Resources initiative also taken by all AISSMS Faculty

• If proper infrastructure and funds provided can start international level training programs
can be started in Library Science field
