MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
ME_2k17 E-MAGAZINE
DESCRIPTION
Department of Mechanical Engineering, you will have the opportunity to solve problems
in Thermo-Fluid Systems (improving airplane flight, imaging how bacteria swim, or modeling
blood flow in our bodies), in Material Mechanics and Processing (developing new smart
materials by assembling atoms or improving energy storage), in Robotics, Autonomous, and
Aerospace Systems (enhancing navigation performance to improving assistive robotics) and
in Product Design and Human Factors (developing new educational technologies, medical
technologies, and musical instruments). To meet the required Academic standards, quality
instruction to students is imparted by the motivated and qualified faculty members providing
good academic insights. To provide higher degree of perspective in the concepts of subject
content, Computers and Audio- Visual equipment are extensively used. Students are especially
trained to meet the current industrial requirements. In order to keep pace with changing needs of
educational standards, the department reviews and revises the course syllabus every year. In the
process, the courses underwent many changes over the years thereby making them more relevant
to the requirements of higher education, research and industry. Mechanical engineering intends
to fulfill a need in Community by continues workshop and hand-on Session to all the students
and faculty of department along with research activities.

From the HOD’S desk
I am happy to know that our departments are bringing out a magazine for the
mechanical engineering department. This e-magazine is surely a channel to prove
the hidden talents of both our students and faculty member’s .Appreciable job has
been done by the Editorial team in collecting details. The ME Department has a
vision to evolve as a department with a difference in terms of quality and
innovation. I request all my students to concentrate on studies, co curricular and
extracurricular activities by the vision in mind and bring laurels to the department.
My Wishes to all
Mr. Raj Kumar Bharti
Assistant Professor & Head
3. From the editor’s desk
It’s been a great pleasure in launching the e-magazine”ME_2k17” which creates
a platform for exchanging all aspects of Mechanical Engineering. At the
commencement, we express our gratitude to our HOD Mr. Raj Kumar Bharti for
giving this opportunity. The faculty and students will come up with many
informative ideas on the recent trends which has been made”ME_2K17”, an issue
on contemporary ideas.
