The length is 15 centimetres
more than breadth. What are

6. ANSWER
Let the breadth be 4x and length be 7x
We can take 7x-4x=15
3x=15
x=5
Therefore breadth=4*5
=20 centimetre
Length=7*5=35 centimetre

7. PROBLEM-2
The breadth and length of a
rectangle are in the ratio 2:3. Its
perimeter is 30 centimetre. Then
find the length and breadth?

8. ANSWER
Let the Length=2x and breadth=3x
Perimetre=2(length+breadth)
30=2(2x+3x)
x=3
Length=2x=6 centimetre
breadth= 3x=9centimetre

In a regular polygon, the ratio of
inner and outer angle is 7:2.
What is each angle?

Let inner angle=7x and outer angle=2x
They form a linear pair
7x+2x=180
x=20
Inner angle=7x=140 degree
