2. Description
You will develop a VR app with the help of and for the
Malta Philarmonic Orchestra (MPO).
The scope is to bring the MPO to new and diverse
audiences who might not be able to visit the theatre
and listen to the orchestra in real person.
The technology is expected to provide a 360-visual of
an orchestra playing, possibly employing new audio
technologies to accompany the 3D visual experience.

3. Deliverables
• VR app + evidence of experimentation with audio
technology - 50%
• Group report - 35%
• Work-in-progress video of the app development -
15%

• GAPT Submission: 22nd May 2017

5. Target Milestones

in particular orchestra;
• Make contact with MPO, visit MPO sites,
decide on a filming program
