This poem celebrates freedom and pays tribute to soldiers who fought and sacrificed their lives to defend their nation's freedom. It describes the hardships soldiers endure in trenches, facing bombardment, bloodshed, freezing conditions, and slim chances of survival. Yet they march on bravely to safeguard their country's freedom and pride. The freedom enjoyed today is not a trivial thing, as millions lost their lives in endless wars, so we must be grateful to the brave, fearless soldiers who fought and gave their lives for this freedom.
1. This Freedom!

“Freedom”
“Not just a mundane Cup of Tea”
In far flung places
the, ones out of reach,
Stands all the mighty ones,
to withstand, any breach,
Holding on their armours,
with spirit of nationalism,
Thy, The Country's Pride!
To fight against any other nation,
that forges in for The Reign!
Cavalries, battalions n echoing echelons
gallantly forward proceed,
Ignited by patriotic faith, in thy heart, forward march!
2. Some controlling voices dictates -
March ahead, O' Gallant ones,
for, thy country's liberty, is on stake!
Its Honour, shan't Defy!
Strengthen thy shoulders, for Fierce Combat,
Ignite patriotic flames in thy Heart!
Prove your solidarity, courage, to defend Thy Nation!
Fight for its Defence,
&
Freedom,
as,
Thy Birth Right!
Thy Forge ahead -
Through hinterland to wilderness
forests, swamps, seas, rivers, deserts n lakes,
beyond, soaring snow-clad mountains,
steep, sloppy, slippery and rocky terrain !
3. In trenches and holes spend, several sleepless nights,
half sunken, wet bodies, weak n numb, thy limbs,
Baffling, biting, spine-chilling winds,
Freezing chiselled faces, visions blur n weak,
yet
Thy vigilant minds all alert n eyes doesn't seem to sleep!
Thunderous sounds of blasting bombs,
like,
fierce lightening has, struck near grounds,
smoke, dust, mud, all thrown up in air,
Momentarily silence n deafness prevails,
noisy grounds, stands still, without sound!
Bloodshed n Carnage of Bodies, All Around!
4. In freezing winds, chilling rains, n suns,
even though,
thy paralytic limb, just hangs on one string,
Thy march ahead O' Fearless Ones!
Though,
Survival in such terrains, might seem pretty slim!
Surpassing, long days, midget nights,
With every call to march ahead to fight,
You
Bravely Fight !
All around bombardment & chaos with lethal arms,
weapons, guns, tanks n air strikes!
Moaning, agonising bodies crying in pain,
I sigh!
5. Still, thy march ahead, Brave one,
to
Safeguard Country's Freedom n Pride!
This Freedom
is not a
“Mundane cup of Tea”
Remember
Those Millions, who Lost their Lives,
in
Endless wars, for days, n nights!
Their death, toil, struggle n fight,
Thereby,
We enjoy,
as
The Freedom, in our Daily Lives!
6. Grateful we are !
for
The Freedom, that we Reap Today!
Not just, heaps of carnage, lying stranded around,
But -
Our Brave, Fearless Soldiers, Who Boldly Fought
and
Gave up There Lives!
Thy Ought to be, Glorified Eternally!
Tribute to,
All the Celebrated n Uncelebrated Soldiers,
We are
Indebted Forever,
For
This Freedom, That we have Today!
Freedom, in Inheritance!
