11. DESIGN SENSIBILITIES
To demonstrate the innovation that propels the vision of Huawei forward- that of a better connected world, we
draw our inspiration from nature. Densely-packed hexagonal cells that work in perfect synchronization,
demonstrates one of the most awe-inspiring wonders of nature - BEEHIVE. The hexagonal comb of honey bee, a
design creation of nature ensures maximum productivity and high efficiency of its hard-working labors.
For the Huawei booth design at the BRICS summit this year, we feel inspired from the extremely efficient
structure of nature, admired for its efficient use of space and economizing labor and wax and translate it into the
story of a digital beehive. Just like a beehive, a better connected world is a smaller world where information
travels really fast. Digital beehive emulating the wonder of nature, will be a dynamic design structure that will
absorb the guests into the world of innovation that is Huawei. The hexagons made-up of wired mesh will be lit-
up, its hues changing from red to blue and back to red, signifying technology and expressing the brand identity
of Huawei.

12. DESIGN ADAPTATION
The concept of beehive links the business units in a more organic way, making the booth experience truly
interconnected and dynamic. The digital cells that make up the stall are content driven and act as one large
screen or multiple cellular screens thereby making the presentations in the stall space unique and different from
the other flat screen offerings with the competition.
