Dear Parents,
Thanks to all for being so helpful after the recent typhoon. The clean up
took place on Monday, and school was fully operational on Tuesday.
The Alumni Auguration is taking place on Saturday. This is and
opportunity for past and present students to join together.
Please note that Monday 24 is a national holiday and school resumes on
Tuesday 25 September.
The Primary team would like to wish everyone a Happy Mid-Autumn
Festival. Due to this celebration, there will be no school on Monday.
EY Parent Teacher Conferences will continue on September 26th and
27th. Please check the time you booked.
The first Y1 – Y6 units of inquiry are coming to a close. Students are
beginning to tune into their new units. Ask your child what they found
out during the first unit of the year. What new understandings do the
students have?
The Year 5 students will be putting all their persuasive skills to the test
at the House Leader Elections on Thursday. Year 4 and Year 6 students
will also attend the elections and are asked to wear their house t-shirt.
On Thursday, Year 6 parents are invited to attend an Information
Meeting regarding the upcoming Y6 Camp to Thailand. This meeting
will take place at 9:30am in the Multi Function Hall (MFH).
Congratulations to Damian Yu Hin Chen in Y2B who has won a prize for
his artwork. The competition was arranged by the Education Bureau and
took place during the last academic year. Damien will attend the prize
giving ceremony next week.
Friday will be the last AOC (activities outside the classroom) of this
cycle. Students will choose a new AOC for the second cycle which will
run from Friday 19th October until Friday 30th November (7 sessions).
