The document discusses the design and development of an online education system. Some key points:
- An online education system aims to conduct education remotely using computer and web technologies, allowing instruction to be delivered anytime and anywhere.
- The goals of the system are to integrate technology more effectively into teaching, create a community for collaborative learning, and provide scheduling flexibility.
- Benefits over conventional systems include savings in manpower, time, and efforts. Students can easily access information and receive automatic results, without waiting. The system has been tested and validated to implement accurate data input and retrieval.
2. Online Education System is a system which conduct
education in place of conventional systems.
Online Education is a technology which supports teaching and
learning using a computer web technology.
The internet and the world wide web has provided us with easy
access to information and knowledge.
It bridges the gap between a teacher and a student in different
ways.
Robust Interactivity
Online Education
3. To offer online instruction that can be delivered
anytime and anywhere.
To integrate technology more effectively into teaching
practice.
To create a community that can work together toward
a common goal of using technology to help meet
curricular goals.
To make Schedule Flexibility.
Objectives
7. Online Education System has been developed and the system was tested with
proper data. In comparison with the manual system, the benefit under a
computer system considerable to save of manpower, working hour and efforts.
It can observe that the information required can be obtained with ease and
accurate in the computerized system. The student with minimum knowledge
about computer can be able operate the system easily. It saves time. It displays
the information and result as the test gets over, so no need to wait for the
result. It is automatically generated by the server. The system has reached a
steady state as far as the basic framework is concerned. Various validation
techniques have been used to implement accuracy of data in all formats of
input.

You already know many of the advantages to online courses. Something that you may not know, is studies conducted by several universities, estimate that in a 6-hour school day, only 2 hours is spent on-task. This is why students who school at home over the Internet, often finish their work before lunchtime, which leaves them lots of time to pursue their hobbies and interests.
Consistency means that every student will get the same experience every time. You don’t have to worry about a teacher being tired or grumpy some days.
Accessibility means the students have more courses to choose from, the teachers have a bigger pool of students to draw from, and the students have access to more teachers, who could be located anywhere in the world.
With asynchronous online courses, you can go at exactly the right pace for you, so you aren’t bored and you don’t feel lost
What’s also nice is that you can repeat whatever lessons you want, as many times as you want.
However, can you think of any downside to self-paced learning?
Here are some of the disadvantages to online courses.

Lots of technical stuff is involved, not only the hardware and software, but your network and Internet connection, too.

There’s obviously less teacher interaction of the lecture-type than there would be in a regular classroom setting, but there is sometimes more one-on-one student-teacher conversations.
But the amount of teacher interaction can really vary a lot. In some classes there is no interaction, so that’s one of the things you want to ask about when selecting a course.

By less social learning, I mean the type of learning that happens by observing and listening to and interacting with your fellow classmates. It’s like Teacher Interactions: an online course could have lots of social learning built into it, or none.

Not counting the technology, what do you think is the most difficult disadvantage to overcome? (There’s no right answer.)
