Thank you, Ms. Christine!
As many of you know, Ms. Christine has decided to retire
beginning in September. We wish to thank Ms. Christine
for all her contributions in establishing the high standards
that Kiddyland is known for. Luckily for us, Ms. Christine’s
passion for education remains and she will be a regular
volunteer at Kiddyland.
Taking over for Ms. Christine as our Director is Ms. Haina.
Ms. Haina has extensive experience in the education
field and is passionate about providing a great
experience for all children. Ms. Haina and our team will
work to maintain our existing traditions and standards
while further developing our program offerings.
Exciting Changes at Kiddyland!
Our Williams location has undergone a facelift! Our students
chose the colour and placement of the tiles that now adorn the outside of our building
and we think they did a great job! See the photo to the right to see our new exterior. We
also have remade our outdoor play area to provide an even better experience for your
child. Feel free to check it out when you’re next here!
See the next page for exciting additions to our program.

It’s not just the exterior of Kiddyland that is changing…we
are pleased to announce the addition of a Music Program
at both the Williams and Ferris sites. Ms. Sheryl will be our
dedicated music teacher beginning in September. Ms.
Sheryl has extensive experience teaching the joys of music
to young children and we are pleased to have her join our
team. She will be spending one hour per week in each
classroom (one class at Williams and two classes at Ferris).
We are also introducing our French Program at the
Williams location. We believe this will further develop
critical language and communication skills for your child.
Mr. Jack will be our dedicated French teacher one hour
per week. Mr. Jack has a love for teaching the French
language and we are very happy to have him join the
Kiddyland team.
More Important News
Snacks
Beginning with the September school year, a reminder
that the school will no longer be providing snacks for the
children. This was done to ensure that children have
snacks that they enjoy (it is very difficult to find items that
all children in the class enjoy and will eat!). Parents should
pack 2 healthy snacks along with the child’s lunch (1
snack for half day programs). We recommend fruit and
vegetable options and/or healthy crackers as best
options. In order to ensure the health and safety of all
students, we ask that all snacks and meals be free of nuts.
We are currently investigating the feasibility of adding a
hot lunch program in the future which would provide
snacks as well as lunch. We will keep you posted and likely
ask for your opinion via survey in the coming months.
