Established Goals:
Students will know and use the attributes of diverse icons to recognize, compare, and contrast
national icons.
Students will know the importance of icons to culture and use that knowledge to compare effects of
icons on their nation.
Students will know and use the importance of icons on outside perspectives to determine
national/cultural stereotypes stemming from the nation's icons.
Students will demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products
and processes using technology.
Students will use digital media and environments to communicate and work collaboratively,
including at a distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others.
Students will use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve
problems, and make informed decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources.
