1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the product?
The above screen caption shows us using rough cut, this software that allowed us to do the initial
editing of the of film we created, it allowed us to put together the different clips that we had taken
throughout our filming and put them together. From this I learnt how to use the software and what
you needed to do in order to put clips together in a professional way which helped with continuity
just as much as the filming did. This software was great, but sometimes it was hard when cutting the
clips to remove un-necessary parts of them to get it to cut to a precise point, and sometimes took
quite some time to do so.

2. The screen caption above this time is of our group using after effects, this can be used to create
transitions, add titles and many other things to enhance the film. In this case we were using to give
the overall feel of the film a much a darker one. We did this by adding some computer generated
filters to it. This was new to me and something that I enjoyed learning about, we also learnt about
changing the colours in the film and colour correction. This software is very good but I did find that
it was very difficult to exactly the colour correction we wanted from it, as it made very sudden and
quite large changes to the colour when you adjusted it.
This last screen caption is of also using after effects, we were simply adding titles at this stage which
we did find worked very well as we got some very professional looking titles, and title effects being
used with it. We liked that we could have them scrolling a long slowly as our clip was introduced.
The only draw backs we found with this were that we did have some titles being introduced a bit late
on into the film which didn’t quite make sense.
