O'Neal, P. W. (2009). Motivation of health behavior. New York,
NY: Nova Publishers.
O’Neal (2009) in this publication carried out an in-depth
analysis on the motivation of health behavior with a critical
view on the influence of behavior in instilling motivation which
is critically an important point to consider since behavior and
motivation are interrelated and they both influence the other in
one way or another. This study aligns with the study conducted

particularly finds out that the behavior that an individual
displays in the work place has a crucial role on how it instills
motivation in the workplace. The language is a bit technical but
nonetheless, it elucidates the most important aspects of
motivation and behavior and how they both influence one
another. The validity of his research is unraveled through the
explicit analysis on how motivation is developed from behavior
whereas the reliability is expressed through their vast
experience in the area.

the sector having worked on a number of researches in the same
4. sector. His experience of over 10 years in the sector has placed
him amongst the most experienced researchers and further
augmented the reliability and validity of this research. This
research aligns with the research conducted by Deci (2012)
since it also contains a great deal of research on intrinsic
motivation which elucidates how internal motivation develops
through our daily behaviors. The research conducted provided a
great depth of knowledge and information in the area and this is
one of the primary reasons why it was an importance source of
reference for this study.
