Wrap-Up
“Green Field” IoT LoRa™ Networks are definitely addressing similar use cases,
scenarios identified within the 5G Umbrella, with the name of “Massive IoT”. Within
the next 2-3 Years many innovations are coming in the Back-End…
Some of the investigations and enabling technologies driven by 5G enthusiasm
and promising global market will definitely also benefit “Green Field” IoT
LPWAN.
Indeed, LoRa™ Networks are “Cloud Friendly” and benefit from the latest
advances in that domain.
Since Most of the time, in the absence of existing legacy Network, this gives fresh
opportunity to design NEW efficient architecture fully tailored for IoT Needs, thus
offering cost competitive advantages.
Ultimately, it is truly believed in LoRa™ Alliance that COMPLEMENTARITY
with Cellular brings growth opportunities to both, and will be facilitated
thanks to new 5G Core technologies.
