To keep with commuting to Clearfield to keep my job my first question to Dr. McSkimming was
what type of degree programs are offered on this campus; currently Clearfield Campus only has the
Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice which is a two–year program (McSkimming, 2013). Of

Therapy students concerning the requirements of a Master's Degree for entry–level positions. When

Controversy about entry–level qualifications continues to create concern over whether music
therapists are adequately prepared to enter into professional work upon completion of approved
university programs and internships. In addressing the identity issues of the music therapist, there is
an ongoing controversy over whether the education of the music therapist at the undergraduate level
should serve to prepare a musician who uses therapy, or a therapist who uses music (Bruscia, 1987).
In order to remedy deficits in undergraduate training, some music therapists chose to explore

people should attend college or get a job after they finish high school. On the one hand, some argue

I. Career and Interest Self–assessment Results This self–assessment test was something that
narrowed down possible interest and helped the participants open their mind to new careers. In–fact
when I finished my test I was able to view the different careers that feel in my interest category.
Taking a survey and calculating the different likes each field had accumulated determined my test
outcome. After gathering the likes that had accumulated I was able to determine which inventory
category was strongest. My top inventory was conventional which states, I am one who likes to

When students graduate from high school. They feel that they don 't need to pursue a four year
college degree. High school graduates may feel happy with just a diploma. When students graduate
also feel that it may be wasteful, and not expand their career choices and their financial outlook.
High school graduates feel they have enough social skills to interact into today 's society. They may
just settle for less.
Getting a four year college degree is worth it because they can better themselves economically,
personally, and publically to fulfil their future challenges to become successful.
High school graduates may feel that it may not be worth it, because with a four year college is just a
piece of paper to them and their satisfied with just a diploma. Some may argue that it 's just a piece a
paper that you don 't need to advance in a further education. In the article, "With College, Only the
Motivated Need Apply," by Craig Brandon, he argues, "Most students don 't learn anything at all
during the average six years they spend at so–called four year college. Employers have come to
understand that these degrees are worthless pieces of paper. Many of these "college graduates" are
functionally illiterate, unable to do basic math and have a minimal understanding of economics or
how our government operates. So it is not surprising that even if they land a job, they don 't keep it
