1. Reflection on Planning
How effective was your planning?
I personally think that my planning was very effective I managed to finish my tasks on time which
helped my further decisions and choices about the layout and what to include in my magazine.
What has it taught you about the planning of the magazine?
From doing each planning stage for a music magazine, it has made me realise how much thought
and process has to go into making a magazine. My flat plan taught me how different every page is in
a magazine and what a magazine is made up of. My front cover, contents page and double page
spread mock ups helped me find a final layout for my magazine. The audience feedback from these
mock ups helped me understand what the audience wanted from a magazine and what appeals to
them. You have a lot of planning to do to make it right before you can make it.
What have you learnt from the Process? How has it aided your project?
From this process I have learnt a lot. I have found out how to create various stuff such as gant charts
and questionnaires, this helped me plan out my time and also get quick feeback to get ideas about
my magazine, as well as helping me decide what to put into my magazine. My audience feedback
has been the most helpful for my planning ideas for my final magazine
