This document provides information on insulation chamfer tools for electric utility distribution and transmission. It describes the IC Series tools that chamfer 15-35kV cable and create a 45 degree bevel approximately 0.125 inches long for XLPE insulations. It also describes the SCC Series adjustable semi-con chamfer tools that fit cable diameters from 0.760 to 2.00 inches. Both tool lines are made in the USA and include replacement blade part numbers.
