Goodyear presented at the International Motor Show in
Geneva on Eagle-360 tire concept: a sphere connected to
the car through magnetic levitation and built with 3D
printing. The concept will be used to develop the tires of the
future. The tire has been designed following four key
elements: maneuverability, safety, connectivity and
biomimicry, fundamental to meet the needs of new vehicles
with autonomous driving, according to a recent study by
Navigant Research, by 2035 will be 85 million worldwide .

Goodyear presenta al Salone Internazionale dell’Auto di
Ginevra il pneumatico concept Eagle-360: una sfera
collegata all’auto attraverso levitazione magnetica e
realizzata con stampa 3D. Il concept sarà utilizzato per
sviluppare i pneumatici del futuro. Il pneumatico è stato
progettato seguendo 4 elementi chiave: manovrabilità,
sicurezza, connettività e biomimica, fondamentali per
rispondere alle esigenze dei nuovi veicoli con guida
autonoma che, secondo un recente studio effettuato da
Navigant Research, entro il 2035 saranno 85 milioni in
tutto il mondo. “I veicoli autonomi rivoluzioneranno le
interazioni delle persone con l’auto. Per questo motivo, i
pneumatici giocheranno un ruolo ancora più importante in
futuro, come unico punto di contatto con la strada”
afferma Luca Crepaccioli, General Manager Southern
Europe di Goodyear Dunlop. “Anche i pneumatici sono
chiamati a rispondere alle esigenze degli automobilisti del
futuro che, come emerge dalle nostre ricerche più recenti ,
si aspettano vetture “smart”, sostenibili e soprattutto
sicure. Goodyear continua ad investire in ricerca e
sviluppo, certa di essere fonte di ispirazione per l’intera
industria automobilistica e banco di prova per le tecnologie

La forma sferica di Eagle-360 è stata ideata per fornire la
massima manovrabilità, grazie all’orientamento multiplo e
antinausea, che consente alla vettura di muoversi in tutte
le direzioni. In questo modo offre maggior sicurezza ai
passeggeri, riducendo lo slittamento in caso di acqua e
ghiaccio e facilitando il superamento di ostacoli improvvisi,
perché agilmente effettuabile senza cambiare la direzione
di marcia.

residenza dell’automobilista. Il concept è stato sviluppato
avvalendosi delle ultime scoperte in campo biomimico,
ovvero la scienza che prende ispirazione dalla natura,
utilizzata da Goodyear nel processo di innovazione. Il
battistrada riproduce il disegno di un particolare tipo di
corallo (corallo - cervello), i tasselli e le scanalature multi-
direzionali contribuiscono ad assicurare un’area di contatto
sicura. Il fondo delle scanalature ha le stesse
caratteristiche della spugna naturale, che si indurisce
quando è asciutta e si ammorbidisce quando è bagnata,
per offrire adeguate prestazioni di guida anche in caso di
pioggia e una buona resistenza all’aquaplaning.

Performance Ford, the Blue Oval group dedicated to the
development of high-performance models and motorsport
activities, has announced that the Focus RS will participate
in the World Championship FIA Rallycross 2016. The
programmasarà continued by hoonigan racing division
team of Ken Block, who will compete with two Focus RS

motorsport, ha annunciato che la Focus RS parteciperà al
Campionato Mondiale FIA Rallycross 2016. Il
programmasarà portato avanti dal team Hoonigan Racing
Division di Ken Block, che gareggerà con 2 Focus RS da
competizione, portando avanti la tradizione Ford nello
spettacolare campionato che unisce le emozioni di pista e
rally. Da oltre 50 anni, il badge RS (Rallye Sport) connota di
sportività i modelli Ford che spostano in avanti i limiti in
quanto a prestazioni e innovazione. Le Ford RS sono da
sempre sinonimo di tecnologie pionieristiche, ma hanno
anche un posto speciale nel cuore degli appassionati che le
hanno seguite negli anni, guidate da campioni come Björn
Waldegård, Marcus Grönholm, Mikko Hirvonen e Colin
McRae. Al volante delle Focus RS che competeranno nel
WRX ci saranno Ken Block e Andreas Bakkerud.
La versione da competizione della Focus RS sarà basata

Destinations la schermata riunisce informazioni preziose su
numerosi luoghi in tutto il mondo, come i voli disponibili e i
prezzi degli hotels. Per trovare la vacanza più adatta,
cerchiamo una destinazione e cosa ci piacerebbe fare, es:

Fare il giro del mondo non è cosa da tutti. Farlo a bordo di
una Ford Model T con oltre 100 anni sulle spalle è una sfida
che tenterebbero in pochi. Ma è esattamente quella
raccolta dagli olandesi Dirk e Trudy Regter. La coppia ha
iniziato il proprio viaggio nell’estate del 2012, quando è
partita da Edam, Olanda, per raggiungere Cape Town, Sud
Africa. La prima tappa è durata 180 giorni, nel corso dei
quali i Regter hanno percorso circa 22mila chilometri. Nel
2013 la Model T ha raggiunto gli Stati Uniti e il Canada,
viaggiando attraverso 22 stati e percorrendo, sempre in
180 giorni, 28mila chilometri. Nel 2014 la meta è stata il
Sud America, dove al contachilometri ne sono stati aggiunti
altri 26mila. La coppia, che a bordo della Model T ha
viaggiato, a oggi, per oltre 80mila chilometri, ha dato il via
a questa entusiasmante avventura nell’ambito di
un’iniziativa filantropica a supporto dei progetti
dell’agenzia no-profit SOS Children’s Village. Nel 2016 e nel
2017 continueranno a viaggiare raggiungendo Nuova
Zelanda, Australia, Indonesia, superando la catena

I spent the last Christmas holidays with Victoria and the

perfect place for the whole family, but I have to admit to be

I spent many wonderful holidays in America, especially with
Victoria and the kids, but the holiday I remember with a
smile was the one in Utah, unforgettable: the landscapes
there are breathtaking.
What is the sport that you most passionate about as a
spectator?
The course football! But I also like to watch basketball and
tennis matches, especially when I have the opportunity to
go to Wimbledon, where the atmosphere is magical and

I've also always wanted to see an equestrian competition,

I'm incredibly lucky to have visited so many places around
the world: just to mention one of the trips I made, I believe
that Antarctica is a special place that I will never forget.
There are still many cities to see, but it's hard to pick one; I

trip, so I think that my next vacation will be somewhere in
the world where I can taste different local cuisines.

where LG Stylus DAB + will make its debut. LG Stylus DAB +
