Combining the zero-emission driving ability and the
absence of autonomy anxiety, the Transit Custom Plug-In
Hybrid can be recharged with electricity for an electric
driving range of up to 56 km (New European Driving Cycle -
NEDC), helping to reduce emissions and allowing the
vehicle to enter the growing number of low-emission areas
introduced in Europe.
Characterized by a technologically advanced hybrid
architecture, the front wheels of the Transit Custom Plug-
In Hybrid are powered exclusively by a 92.9 kW electric
motor powered by a 13.6 kWh lithium ion battery pack.
The award-winning 1.0 EcoBoost petrol engine acts as an
extender for a total range of more than 500 kilometers,
with fuel consumption of 2.7 l / 100 km and CO2 emissions
of 60 g / km - NEDC.
A generous net payload of 1,130 kg and an unchanged load
volume of 6.0 m3 facilitated by an accurate positioning of
the battery pack under the floor. The battery is covered by
a standard warranty of eight years / 160,000 km (*) which
allows greater serenity in carrying on the business.

availability of charging infrastructure and their autonomy.

The first deliveries of the new Transit Custom Plug-In
Hybrid, already available to be ordered, will begin by the
end of the year, offering a practical and high-productivity
option for companies that must meet emissions targets in

Combinando la capacità di guida a emissioni zero e
l’assenza di ansia da autonomia, il Transit Custom Plug-In
Hybrid può essere ricaricato con l’energia elettrica per
un’autonomia di guida in elettrico fino a 56 km (New
European Driving Cycle - NEDC), contribuendo a ridurre le
emissioni e consentendo al veicolo di entrare nel numero
crescente di zone con traffico a basse emissioni, introdotte
in Europa. Caratterizzato da un’architettura ibrida
tecnologicamente avanzata, le ruote anteriori del Transit

The standard FordPass Connect integrated modem
features allow operators to maximize the efficiency and
use of their vehicle. Introduced in the spring of 2020 and
available for subsequent assembly for previous vehicles, a
new Geofencing module will be able to automatically
switch to zero-emission EV Now mode when accessing a
low-emission area. Technology will help ensure that
companies comply with regulations, avoiding charges or
penalties.
Ford also announced the introduction of the Tourneo
Custom Plug-In Hybrid, the spacious 8-seat Blue Oval
people mover, able to guarantee zero-emission mobility
and premium comfort thanks to the individual sessions
that can be organized in 'conference' mode, an ideal
vehicle for companies that aim to achieve emission
reduction targets in sensitive areas such as the historic city
center or airports.
Thanks to the socket located inside the front bumper, the
Transit Custom Plug-In Hybrid can be recharged with either
a 240 volt and 10 amp domestic power supply, which
allows a full charge to be achieved in 4.3 hours, both with
an industrial power supply 2 AC, which reduces the time to
2.7 hours. Furthermore, it is possible to recover energy
thanks to the regenerative charging system when the
vehicle decelerates or brakes. The driver can choose
between four possible electric driving modes (EV modes)
which provide different times and ways of using the
batteries:
- EV Auto is designed to allow the best balance between
performance and efficiency. The vehicle control algorithm

traffic, and decides whether to use the EcoBoost engine or
not.
- EV Now gives priority to the use of the energy stored in
the batteries, deactivating the EcoBoost motor, until the
batteries reach a minimum level of charge that no longer
allows a zero emission guide
- EV Later puts the EcoBoost engine in operation and uses
the regenerative charge coming from the brakes to the
maximum, in order to maintain the existing charge level of
the batteries in the most efficient way, for the purpose of
subsequent use in electric mode
- EV Charge uses the EcoBoost motor to bring the battery
to maximum charge for when further use in EV Now mode
will be required
Drivers can also choose the degree of energy recovery and
the braking assistance offered by the regenerative
charging system, selecting Drive or Low modes on the
transmission. The programmed deceleration of the vehicle
increases in Low mode by releasing the accelerator pedal
while the brake lights are automatically illuminated, when
necessary, to warn the following vehicles.
The greater number of decelerations increases the amount
of kinetic energy recovered and stored in the batteries,
extending the potential electrical autonomy.
Inside the on-board computer, the classic tachometer has
been replaced by a power / charge indicator.
Optimized based on Ford's year-long trial feedback from
London-based roads, the indicator clearly shows real-time
energy recovery to help drivers maximize electric driving
range.
A smaller indicator for battery charge status replaces the
engine coolant temperature gauge. The on-board

I conducenti, inoltre, possono scegliere il grado di recupero
energetico e l’assistenza alla frenata offerta dal sistema di
ricarica rigenerativa, selezionando le modalità Drive o Low
sulla trasmissione. La decelerazione programmata del
veicolo aumenta in modalità Low rilasciando il pedale
dell’acceleratore mentre si illuminano automaticamente le
luci dei freni, quando necessario, per avvisare i veicoli che

Thanks to the FordPass Connect on-board modem,
standard on the new electrified commercial vehicles, the
FordPass app allows drivers to remotely monitor the state
of charge of their vehicle. Starting in the spring of 2020,
the FordPass Pro app recently launched by Ford, dedicated
to commercial vehicle and small fleet customers to support
them in managing their vehicles so that they are always
connected, safe and efficient, will also allow to check the
status of battery charge for up to five vehicles.
Ford is introducing a new app for smartphones and tablets
that will allow owners and users of Plug-In Hybrid vehicles
to easily locate, navigate and pay for charging. In
collaboration with NewMotion, Ford will offer access to
one of the largest public recharging networks with wide
coverage across Europe, providing simplified access and
payment options for Ford customers at over 118,000
recharge points in 30 countries.
Customers will be able to seamlessly use top-up points in
many countries, using one-way billing services for a
simplified tenure experience.
Ford also recently announced that it will work with six
major energy suppliers across Europe to provide home
recharging wall box and green energy rates for plug-in
hybrid customers, including Centrica to offer services in
the Kingdom United Kingdom and in Ireland. The Ford wall
box solution will provide up to 50% more charging power
than a normal domestic socket, to reduce charging times
at home by up to a third for Ford plug-in hybrid customers.
In addition, the Ovale Blu, will work with six of the main
energy suppliers, throughout Europe, for the installation of
wall boxes for domestic recharging and energy tariffs
dedicated to customers of electrified vehicles, allowing for
easier recharging, faster and cheaper. The Ford wall box
solution will provide up to 50% more charging power than
a normal domestic socket, to reduce charging times up to a
third.
The Transit Custom Plug-In Hybrid will be offered in a
single variant short pitch low roof, in the Van or Kombi
version. The Van model is available in the Base, Trend and

designed to offer important additional benefits to
customers who will choose the new Transit Custom Plug-In
Hybrid.

Certified DisplayHDR 1000, ROG Swift PG35VQ can reach a

Sony has announced the launch of α9 II (model ILCE-9M2).
The latest model of Sony's acclaimed full-frame α range of
interchangeable-lens cameras has been developed
specifically for professionals working in sports photography
and photojournalism.
The new α9 II camera is based on the extraordinary legacy
of the α9 original, preserving its ultra-fast performance,
uninterrupted continuous shooting [i] up to 20 fps [ii] with
autofocus and auto exposure tracking and AF / AE
calculations 60 times on the second [iii], but adding
additional features created based on the feedback of the
professionals. Updates include optimized connectivity and
file sending, continuous shooting up to 10 fps with
mechanical shutter, advanced AF performance with new
improved algorithms, a more durable and practical design
structure and much more.
