There is growing demand for technical training for skills development for employment
particularly who are seeking jobs and development of efficiency those are in services. There is
an increasing trend of migrating to UK, USA, Middle East etc. It is now known that virtually
there is no demand for unskilled workers abroad, so there is growing interest for skill
development with special reference to overseas job market.
1.1.8 Competition, Market Size and Demand
Present competition is negligible, as there is no reputed and established Life-skill Training
Institute in the town. Recent effort to run Hotel Management Training by a Parjatan and two or
three private organization are positive development in this direction. But the capacity is very
much less compared to demand. Considering demands at home and abroad, carefully three
courses are selected which shows great interest among job seekers

The Life-skill Training Institute will develop skills and proficiency in Computer, English and
Hotel Management (Frond Desk Operation, House Keeping, Food & Beverage, Confectionery).
The courses will be developed as per requirement of foreign job market and are mainly targeted
towards unemployed youth, would-be migrants etc. But the courses have local demand also.
