Dan v.s His Ego Dan's pride and ego gets to the best of him. It makes Dan do things that are out of his comfort zone. What if Dan had the chance to
change that, would he take that opportunity to become better? In the movie, Peaceful Warrior Dan Millman had the opportunity to change himself for
the better. Dan had the chance to rethink his ways, his actions and do the right things. Throughout the movie it was Dan v.s his alter ego, but that
changed when he meets a man named Socrates. In the beginning of the movie Dan lets his ego get to the best of him while he was practicing his
flips and tricks on the rings. Dan was trying to practice landing a triple flip on the rings for his big finisher of his routine. While Dan was on the rings
everything was rushing through his head, he was not focused, he was not determined to land the flip. Dan thought he could make the flip not matter
what, but he did not know that his ego started to come out and take over. For Dan's ego coming out he was not able to land the triple flip that he wanted

Miranda and her mom got into a big fight, just because Miranda left the line to get Dan. Miranda's mom was mad because Miranda wasn't being

The term that he gives for this concept is "procreative success," and he explains that this mostly involves genetics. The second myth that Buettner
discusses is the myth that treatments can help a person live longer. He says that this myth is false because there are several things that can age us.
For example, the thirty five trillion cells that we have in our bodies are replaced every eight years. When this happens, the damage that is done
builds up over time, which causes aging. "That 's why a sixty five year old person is aging at a rate of about one hundred and twenty five times faster
than a twelve year old person," says Buettner. According to the video, it is not possible to stop this natural process with treatments. These two myths
show that most Americans have been misinformed about the process of aging and the way to longevity.

First, I wanted to mention some of the longevity secrets that were mentioned in the area of Sardinia. They believe in eating a plant–based diet
consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables, and they believe that drinking goat's milk can fight against heart disease and cognitive disorders such as
Alzheimers. They take daily walks and enjoying with family and friends and of course the daily glass of red wine are just a few other secrets. They
value family connections here in Sardinia; most families live together, from the parents, children and the grandchildren (Buettner, 2008).
In Okinawa, they enjoy being active and being outdoors in the sunshine, gardening and enjoying the company of their "moai (circle of friends).
Having a good attitude and what they like to call the "ikigai", which is what they say, gives them a purpose in life and what helps them get up every

Angels & Demons is a New York Times best seller and the first book in the Robert Langdon series written by Dan Brown. The novel was published in
year 2000 but gained popularity after the success of its sequel The Da Vinci Code (2003). Other books in the series are The Lost Symbol (2009) and
Inferno (2013). Dan Brown is also the author of Digital Fortress (1998) and Deception Point (2001). The novel was adapted and released under the
same name as a movie in 2009.
The novel is an amazing blend of fact and fiction, though it technically belongs to the latter category. It is a thriller that covers 1 day adventure of the

His manner of interacting with people and the depth of his belief in God is portrayed in a beautiful manner, especially the speech he gives during the
conclave in a press interview is heart touching. Even though his misguided actions, obsession and the voices in his head makes him look seriously
insane, you still can't help but wish he was redeemable somehow, because despite all this he still manages to charm you completely.
Vittoria is the character I felt most connected with. She's smart, fierce, doesn't give up easily and is not afraid to take a stand against people she feels
are unjust/wrong. That is the kind of person I wish to be. Vittoria shows not just mental but emotional strength also, which I believe is very important.
Her never ending curiosity and love for her family makes her even more connectable.
My motivation behind choosing this novel were secret societies & beautiful buildings as I am fascinated by both and I can honestly say I don't regret
my choice. I'm also a fan of mythology, which this book explores
