If you are to produce a successful artefact it is essential that you are prepared to be flexible in the production
of your work. You should begin to think about possible problems you may encounter whilst working and
consider how you would solve these problems whilst working. List some possible problems and their
solutions in the table below. There is guidance on doing this on page 84 of the Student Book.
Potential problem How this could be solved
Forget to plan the structure and the style Make a rough plan during lesson
of the clay pot. remember how you want it to look like
and draw it out.
The shape and structure of the pot Try to make it look as similar as possible
doesn’t look like your plan. as you can.
