SKILLS & PROGRAMS
Built Programs From the Ground Up
While at Loop UX, ACS, and TasteV, I was tasked
with managing high priority initiatives to build new
programs and functional areas to improve
operational performance.
Broke Down Silos
Through my work in emerging markets, I
collaborated with local staff from all three (infamously
siloed) divisions at ACS, which led to the
development of an enterprise-wide global strategy.
After getting the strategic plan approved by c-suite
leadership, I managed four small teams to execute
programs in China, India, Korea, and Brazil to benefit
ACS’s joint strategic priorities.
Fell Hard and Got Up Fast
At ACS, when an event that I had been planning for
18 months had to be postponed one week prior due
to a safety issue in the host city (Dhaka,
Bangladesh), I negotiated, organized, and hustled to
hold the event two months later, and in the process,
saved the org $100+k in potential cancellation costs.
Worked in Chinese
After eight years of learning Chinese and living in
Beijing, I joined TasteV, a local company where I was
the only foreign employee. Working in a foreign
language taught me a lot about myself, my
colleagues, and the world around me.
MOST PROUD OF
BS: Biochemistry, Chinese Language
