Over the past few weeks we have studied and exhausted the topic of the Holocaust, the knowledge I had prior to the studying of the holocaust is
incomparable to what I now know. The Holocaust was an event in history marking it as one of the most tragic and devastating moments for humanity,

Final Assignment A paramount aspect to the nature of man is the desire to rule over oneself and ones territory. This theology is not held within the

result in success or failure via the analysis of secessionist movements in Indonesia and China supplemented by references to Scotland and Catalonia.
The dynamic of secessionist movements can be attributed to four general elements: the identity of the seceding community, the territorial claims of the
seceding community, the leadership of the seceding community and the discontent of the seceding community. For any given secessionist movement

In Raymond Carver's Cathedral, the reader is given a glimpse into the precarious relationship between the narrator and his wife. The narrator shares his

We start off with the exposition where Eckels is taking part in a business transaction in exchange to go back in time for a hunting expedition for

Being a comic book and manga reader, I always fell in love with the plot, read the words and skim through the drawings without stopping to think
about the symbolism of the drawings on the pages. While reading McCloud's "Understanding Comics" and observing Molly Bang's theories on
shapes and lines, my mind has opened a broader understanding of what is right in front of me, when I'm reading a manga or a comic book. To begin

Music Video Analysis In the United States, cultural divide is evident almost everywhere you go. Police are often the ones blamed for divide. In the
past couple of years, many African American men have been killed by police in streets across America. With most of the cops being white, the black
community has linked these killings to racism. Black groups have become furious with these killings. African Americans are taking a stand against
police and racism on an everyday basis. We see these stands being taken place on social media and TV. Although most people would look at this video
thinking it's about speaking out against police, I see a different message. The music video by Big Sean, "One Man Can Change The World",
demonstrates an inspirational impact somebody can have on social issues. The music video, "One Man Can Change The World", provides many
opportunities for analysis and inspiration. Something that jumps out during this video that needs analyzing is the racial stereotypes. In the unit two
reading, it talks about a problem within hip–hop music videos. The videos supposedly put out bad messages and "perpetuate" stereotypes upon

American Novelist, Cormac McCarthy, won the Pulitzer Prize and the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction for his gripping novel, The Road
(2006). The novel follows a man and his son who are struggling to survive the burned America and the hardships that come with it. They face harsh

In The Power Of One, by Bryce Courtenay, the main character Peekay undergoes a brutal childhood of constant beat downs and bed wetting. Living
in an extremely prejudice society that South Africa is is not exactly easy either, especially if you are an Englishman like Peekay. Despite these
horrible situations that Peekay has to live in, he always gets through on top, but he would not have been able to do this well without the right people
who taught him what he needs to be a powerful man. But with all the odds stacked against Peekay, he gets through thanks to the influence of friends
and mentors like Hoppie, Doc, and Geel Piet, Peekay becomes the strong independent man that he is now.
The first major role model in Peekay's life was none other than Hoppie Groenewald. After Peekay had finally completed boarding school under the
care of a nanny, it was time for him to hop on the train to go back home with his Mom and Grandpa. He is greeted by at his cabin by Hoppie
