Dotmax is the application which handles the data of all kind of policies such premiums, claims
and loss history with various types of regions and line numbers. Data from different servers are
handled with ETL techniques and processed to the downstream applications. It is mainly
designed by Syntel and now being supported for the same. Current project is the enhancement
which is to migrate all the code from Unix to Linux make the application more efficient.
Roles Involved:
 Understand the Initial and earlier graph process flow very well which helped me in clear
understanding of the new requirements on the enhancements.
 Analysed the impacted systems and prepared impact list on whichever the graphs needs
to be modified or newly created.

FedEx one of the esteemed client of Syntel has extended its current application of COINS with
ICMS. It supports FedEx system for building the financial package for compensation
effectiveness analysis.
Numerous activities performed manually outside of COINS to execute many of the
requirements, which is time-consuming for personnel and also error-prone. Because of these
issues, FedEx replaced the COINS system with a more modern, feature-rich system.
An additional factor is the need for a global system to enable all regions to use the same system
for their operations.

 Worked in a sandbox environment while extensively interacting with EME to maintain

 Worked on improving the performance of Ab Initio graphs by using various techniques
like using look ups (instead of joins), In-memory Sorts, Joins and Roll up to speed up
various AbInitio graphs.

 Awarded with Syntel Kudos award as an appreciation for the outstanding performance
at Trainee level for Syntel Quarterly awards in 2014.
