The main objective of the project is to maintain the records of the retirement plans. The plans are
known by US tax law that governs them. Mass Mutual receives data from different source system
L&A, commissions and record keeper systems (TRAC &OMNI) and Mass Mutual generates
output files and sends to DTCC third party vendor, which in turn sends the files to corresponding
firms.
Project Description:
MassMutual receives the information from the sources L&A, Commissions and record keeper
systems.L&A is licensing and appointment, which is the process of agreement between the agent
of firm and the mass mutual. Commissions, whatever the Mass Mutual pays the commissions to
the Agents of the firms for their contribution towards the Mass Mutual Business. Record keeper
systems, TRAC&OMNI, Mainframe applications which have information related to the
government as well as corporate line of businesses.
Finally Mass Mutual generates the different (Position, Commission, price as well as transaction)
files to the DTCC, which in turn verifies and sends the files to the customer Firms.

The main objective of the project is to automate the generation of Dealer Forecast and planning
reports. Data from PPM, SAP and ePlan systems will be integrated into BA for the reporting
solution. The data elements which are not available in BA will be extracted from corresponding
source systems, transported via an interface to the BA system whereupon it will be loaded into
the EDW(BA), transformed to be merged with existing EDW(BA) data and then made available
for reporting.
Project Description:
CNH intends to integrate the TSM level market share data, dealer level market share data, retail
data and dealer hierarchy from the existing Profile Performance Management (PPM) System to
the Enterprise Data Warehouse (BA). It is a monthly process wherein data from the various CNH
systems is extracted and consolidated along with the forecast and OW request data captured
from TSMs and RSDs. It serves as the focal point of data collection and analysis.
