Beyoncé is an American singer and businesswoman known for her music career as well as her feminist views. She rose to fame as the lead singer of Destiny's Child before embarking on a successful solo career. Through her music and public stances, Beyoncé promotes feminism and empowerment of women. She is also involved in several charitable causes and has become a global brand through various business ventures and endorsements.

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles (Queen B) is an American entertainer. Beyoncé
was born on September, 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. She started singing
in a girls group at age 8 then eventually became the lead vocalist of
R&B girl group Destiny’s Child. She later separated from the group to
pursue a solo career. She became one of music’s top selling artists with
sold out tours and many awards. Beyoncé also starred in several
different films including Obsessed, Dream Girls and more. Beyoncé
Knowles and Sean Carter (Jay-Z) have been married since 2008 and
have a 3 year old daughter named Blue Ivy

Beyoncé has become the symbol for modern feminism. Through her
song, performances, interviews, short films, etc., Beyoncé makes it
evident that she is a strong feminist and believes that men and women
should be able to balance each other out.

When Beyonce was young she started out in pageants, and then her
father Matthew Knowles signed to be her manager, in her teen years
she, LaToya Luckett, Kelly Rowland and LaTavia Roberson started an
R&B group called Destiny Childs in 1955. The group of girls competed
in competitions, such as Star Search, it was a popular television show.
However, they did not win the competition, but a record deal was
followed after that from Columbia Records.

which takes place on November 20 to
inform people and raise funds and
children’s causes which typically takes
place all over the globe

named Survivor Foundation that helped victims
of Katrina. The accomplishments of the
foundation included giving 300 low income
houses a day full of food and fun, a visit from
Santa Clause, and free toys from the toy give
away.

her concerts in 2006 that many people really
needed
