Wayne Gretzky is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player and current part-owner and head coach of the Phoenix Coyotes. As a young player, he always played at a level far above his peers. In his first NHL season with the Edmonton Oilers in 1979, he broke records and won awards. He later played for the Los Angeles Kings, leading them to the playoffs, and finished his career with the New York Rangers. Now retired, Gretzky focuses on his family with five children and coaching the Phoenix Coyotes.
