* To find the amount of greenhouse gases is less in the atmosphere 
* To define green house gases 
* To know how the green house gases regulate the temperature 
 Greenhouse effect, the glass house, global warming. 
 The glass hose used in the cold region to grow plants are known as green house 
 The temperature greenhouse is usually higher than outside temperature. 
 The gases like carbon dioxide and methane are greenhouse gases. 
 The greenhouse plays an important role in regulating the temperature. 
 The atmosphere with the help of greenhouse gases retain the temperature, it is called greenhouse effect.

Activity-1 
The teacher discusses the greenhouse gases with the help of showing a slide. 
THE GREENHOUSEGASES ARE CARBONDIOXIDE,METHANE,AND WATERVAPOUR 
The teacher explained the gases like carbon dioxide and methane and water vapor found in the atmosphere play an important role in regulating the temperature. 
Activity – 2 
The teacher present another slide 
THE GLASS HOUSE USED IN COLD REGION TO GROW PLANTS ARE KNOWN AS GREEN HOUSE 
Then the teacher and student discussed about green house gases
Activity-3 
The teacher explained green house effect with the help of a slide. 
THE TEMPERATURE IN THE GREEN HOUSE USUALLY HIGHER THAN OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE BECAUSE THE GLASS ALLOWS INCOMMING SHORTWAVES RADIATION OF THE SON TO ENTER WITHOUT ANY OBSTECTION AND PREVENTS THE ESCAPE OF THE OUTGOING LONGWAVE RADIATION. THE TEMPERATURE IN THE GLASS REMAINS HIGH. 
Activity-4 
THE TEMPERATURE WITH THE HELP OF GREEN HOUSE GASES RETAINED THE TEMPERATURE, IT IS CALLED GREENHOUSE EFFECT. 
Students are discussed about greenhouse effect. 
Activity-5 
To discuss about and write a short note on why the amount of the green house gases in the atmosphere has increased. For this the students are divided in to four groups. 
Then the students present their answers. Then the teacher concluded the topic.

Name of the teacher : Jijimol J Name of the school : Subject : Social Science Unit : Our atmosphere Subunit : Green House Effect Standard : IX Division : Strength : Duration :45 mts Date : Curricular Statement Learning outcome Content Analysis Terms Facts  Examine the importance of green houses gases to control atmospheric temperature * To find the amount of greenhouse gases is less in the atmosphere * To define green house gases * To know how the green house gases regulate the temperature  Greenhouse effect, the glass house, global warming.  The glass hose used in the cold region to grow plants are known as green house  The temperature greenhouse is usually higher than outside temperature.  The gases like carbon dioxide and methane are greenhouse gases.  The greenhouse plays an important role in regulating the temperature.  The atmosphere with the help of greenhouse gases retain the temperature, it is called greenhouse effect.

GREEN HOUSE GASES ( B.B) Activity-1 The teacher discusses the greenhouse gases with the help of showing a slide. THE GREENHOUSEGASES ARE CARBONDIOXIDE,METHANE,AND WATERVAPOUR The teacher explained the gases like carbon dioxide and methane and water vapor found in the atmosphere play an important role in regulating the temperature. Activity – 2 The teacher present another slide THE GLASS HOUSE USED IN COLD REGION TO GROW PLANTS ARE KNOWN AS GREEN HOUSE Then the teacher and student discussed about green house gases
  • 5. Activity-3 The teacher explained green house effect with the help of a slide. THE TEMPERATURE IN THE GREEN HOUSE USUALLY HIGHER THAN OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE BECAUSE THE GLASS ALLOWS INCOMMING SHORTWAVES RADIATION OF THE SON TO ENTER WITHOUT ANY OBSTECTION AND PREVENTS THE ESCAPE OF THE OUTGOING LONGWAVE RADIATION. THE TEMPERATURE IN THE GLASS REMAINS HIGH. Activity-4 THE TEMPERATURE WITH THE HELP OF GREEN HOUSE GASES RETAINED THE TEMPERATURE, IT IS CALLED GREENHOUSE EFFECT. Students are discussed about greenhouse effect. Activity-5 To discuss about and write a short note on why the amount of the green house gases in the atmosphere has increased. For this the students are divided in to four groups. Then the students present their answers. Then the teacher concluded the topic.
