De energiekosten schieten omhoog. De energiebudgetten worden zwaar overschreden en het einde is nog niet in zicht. Om de marges op peil te houden is ingrijpen op de kosten een belangrijke optie. Dat betekent: op zoek gaan naar besparingen en het elimineren van ‘waste’. Maar ook het her-prioriteren van geplande investeringen (CAPEX) en operationele verbeteringen (OPEX). In dit webinar bieden Joris Grimbergen en Mario Idsinga handvatten om de stijgende energiekosten te compenseren.

- Aanleiding voor deze webinar:
- Welke industrieën raakt het in Nederland? Welke vragen roept deze situatie op en welke Risico’s zijn er voor de industrie? Wat kunnen we er tegen doen? Bedreiging maar ook Kansen !! NOS: Neem Aldel, een aluminiumsmelterij in Delfzijl. De tarieven voor gas en elektriciteit zijn in amper een jaar tijd ongeveer vervijfvoudigd;
- Threats & Opportunities: dan zijn daar 2 zaken daaruit willlen pakken en bespreken: We kunnen ook onze Operationele kosten verder reduceren en/of onze Investerings-uitgaven reduceren. Wij doen een greep in de grabbelton van oplossingen: LEAN en VBPM, want er zijn er natuurlijk meer. Mario iets meer vertellen over Lean?
- Mario voorbeelden: Vele opties: is Bijdrage / Contributie voldoende groot?: Van elk de Kosten en de Baten vele business cases Selectie van projecten maken die; - én KT effect geven - én over de gehele levenscyclus de slimste keuze zijn = LT projecten selecteren die een LT sustainable oplossing geven en de laagste kosten over de gehele levensduur opleveren.
- Bij de beoordeling en selectie van je projecten moet je je wel laten leiden door de company strategie Je zult keuzes moeten maken in; - Wat weegt bij ons bedrijf het zwaarst = wat vindt ons bedrijf meer of minder belangrijk, Dan hebben we het over; Wat is je corporate strategy, geef aan waar de zwaartepunten liggen en vertaal die in weegfactoren: Hierbij enkele voorbeelden
- Vanuit de accenten uit de corporate strategie worden de criteria opgesteld om de juiste projecten met de meest bijdrage te kunnen selecteren. De benodigde bijdrage/contributie wordt vertaald in doelstellingen die gerealiseerd moeten worden met de projecten en afgeleide-onderliggende criteria waaraan de geselecteerde projecten moeten voldoen. In dit voorbeeld zijn een 6 business drivers centraal genoemd waarvan de doelstellingen en de onderliggende criteria afgeleid zijn. Deze set van criteria noemen we het Business Value framework: Bijvoorbeeld …………….
- De selectie uit de voorgestelde verbeterprojecten kunnen projecten zijn die: - het RISICO doen mitigeren: hoge energiekosten doen terugdringen…..maar ook…. - die een KANS bieden om de waarde - voortkomend uit de assets - te doen verhogen = Opportuniteiten = verbeterprojecten die bijvoorbeeld de output doen verhogen zonder dat de vaste kosten stijgen De selectie van zowel mitigerende projecten als value verhogende projecten komt tot stand door de inzet van hier weergegeven principe: een risico en opportuniteiten matrix in 1 !
- Er is maar beperkte keuze mogelijk: De praktijk is dat er al projecten lopen – de current projecten- en, er mogelijk ook projecten moeten uitgevoerd worden waar de organisatie niet onderuit kan (denk aan verplichtingen rond compliance / wetgeving). Voor de resterende investeringsruimte kun je die projecten selecteren die volgens het business value framework het beste zullen presteren
- Tot slot: route schetsen voor VBPM: Alle marge-verbeterende-opties beoordelen adhv…..
- Vragen: Wat zijn de criteria voor het inzetten van een High Performance Team? Hoe ga je om met de cultuur verschillen? Je noemde in de definitie van High Performance Team dat ‘er druk aanwezig is’. Hoe ervaart het team deze druk? Hoe gaat het team hiermee om? In welke cases is dit toegepast? Wat waren de effecten? Welke eisen stelt dit aan het eigen bedrijf? Is dit iets wat STORK alleen kan doen? De referentie database, wat zit daar in? Is dit een standaard?
