Mydata/Mycronic supply complex hardware and software solutions to the electronics smt industry
specialising in pick and place equipment, jet printing technology, Storage and software solutions. I have
been working as UK New Business Sales and Marketing Manager generate new relationships with new
prospects by cold call, shows, open days etc. and then account managing them to show how they can put
more profit on the bottom line with the software solutions provided,
I believe I have been very successful within my role having introduced 32 new customers with an average
spend of £350k per order
July 2007 to Jan 2008 Bishopsworth Group
Bishopsworth Group is a group of companies that supply a total solution to OEM’s. Providing sub-
contract solutions. My role within the Group was to generate new business from PCB Solutions,
Machining, Fabrication and Moulding. I had established 8 new customers with an order value of 500k
with a further half a million due for the first half of 2008 during my short time with them.

August 2006 to March 2007 Global Electronics
Global Electronics supplied and offered a one stop solution for PCB manufacture, assembly, when in this
role, my job was to introduce new customers, and during my six months at Global I generated 250k on
new business, unfortunately made redundant, due to liquidation of the company.
March 2001 to August 2006 eXception EMS
EMS Specialises in Printed Circuit Board Manufacture, PCB Assembly and Mechanical Assembly for
market sectors of mobile phone, MOD, Aerospace, satellite navigation, 3G, GPS, computers, and
commercial markets.
March 2001: I joined EMS as New Business Development Manager, To introduce new business for
England and Europe to their quick turn prototype department and be responsible for all sales, the aim
was to also to introduce 1 in 5 of these customers into main production. This proved to be a great
challenge and great success.
Within the first 3 months I had introduced 10 new customers, which in turn brought in over £100 k worth
of new business. The target for year on year is 25% over target which stood at £75k a month,
2-3 years later, the monthly figure stood at £160k a month,
customers within this department, regular visits, supporting engineering and purchasing, this role had
developed into working with some of are largest customers for the main production department.
The order ranged from 10k to the most recent £5.3 million one of my biggest achievements to date.

August 1992 to March 2001, First Index
First Index specialises in information for the Capital Equipment & Engineering Industry with
E-commerce & Internet marketing solutions.
August 92:
I joined First Index when it was a new company in England (branches now exist in other parts of
Europe). My first position was as a tele-sales market researcher building long term relationships with
OEM’s dealing with Managing Directors & other key managers, generating enquires for the sales teams.
Prospects came from constant research of relevant journals and magazines, which enabled me to aid in
building a substantial database.
Within the 2 years I progressed to Team Manager, responsible motivating and training 10 people, whilst
still over achieving my own targets, up to 25% month on month.
3. January 95:
Promotion to Field Sales Consultant covering the Midlands, responsible for managing my own
geographical areas & targets. My responsibilities include cold calling, market research and marketing to
Increase market awareness of the product. Within the first year I over achieved target which I have
maintained to present. During my third year in this role, I had been promoted to Team Manager due to
consistent over performance & motivation skills. My role was to manage a team of four field sales
consultants. This involves training, motivating & aiding them in managing their own time and ensuring
monthly targets are achieved for the team and for individuals who we had consistently over
achieved. In addition I was still responsible for managing & marketing my own territory by targeted
cold calling and marketing activity.
