Breakout EDU is a tool that allows students to practice 21st century skills like collaboration, communication, critical thinking and problem solving. It involves students working in teams to solve clues, riddles and mysteries within a set time limit in order to "break out" of a simulated locked container. The game provides an engaging hands-on activity where students have to work together to unlock the mystery. It gives teachers an opportunity to change up traditional lessons and have students learn through an interactive experience.

4.  Step 1: The teacher sets up breakout in the classroom.
 Hides Keys, Boxes, and Required Mystery Items
 Step 2: The teacher introduces the students to the game and
explains rules.
 Step 3: Players have a set amount of time (45 min)to solve a
series of challenges, riddles, and mysteries in order to break
out.
 Step 4: The teacher may review how teams did not breakout if
unable or answer some of the questions.
 Teachers may provide hints.
