The Themes Of Discovery In The Discovery, By Michael Gow
Discovery comprises the understanding of uncovering something for the first time or refinding
something that has been forgotten or something has not yet been explored. Disclosures can be
provoking and confronting. The impact can be transformative. They are able to lead us to new
worlds and values, venture new thoughts, and allow us to gamble about future possibilities. Their
effect can be life–changing for the individual and for a broader community. discovery may be
interrogated or confronted when viewed from different aspects and their value may be reconsidered
over time.
The play "Away" by Michael Gow and the poem "The discovery" by Gwendolyn MacEwan, both
texts consists of the themes about discovery. "Away" by Michael Gow is a play in a play. It is about
three Australian families who went on holidays in mid–summer up the coast where they were driven
together by the storm. The storm leads the families to discover new people, places and has renewed
understandings of themselves and others. In the play, Gow explores the themes of suffering,
regeneration, grief, and the healing effects that can have on an individual. And, "The discovery" by
MacEwan is a poem about constant exploration and how nothing can ever fully be understood.
MacEwan in her poem explains about how nothing can ever fully be understood by telling us that
there is always another thing that you may not be aware of and that must be taken into account.
Firstly, In the play "Away", Tom (who is the protagonists

Education and Awareness Will Promote Environmental Justice
The goals of this environmental justice conference are stated simply: firstly, to explore whether
racial minorities and the poor are being environmentally victimized, and secondly, to evaluate public
policies that promote environmental fairness. Each speaker provided insight and information from
their respective area of expertise. Led by keynote speaker Dr. Bunyan Bryant, they drew upon the
realms of academic investigation, government and public policy, sociology, healthcare, and
philosophy to unite the environmental movement with the quest for social justice. After absorbing so
much information concerning the current state of environmental justice, one leaves the conference ...

Additionally, many conferences over the years have contributed to the organization and
dissemination of information vital to the growth of the environmental justice movement. As the
movement continues to grow and hopefully breach international boundaries, Dr. Bryant emphasizes
the importance of promoting an understanding of the central issues of race, income, intent, pollution
control versus prevention, positivism and participatory research, and top–down versus bottom–up
perspectives of investigation. Overall, Dr. Bryant's talk reveals the uniting theme of the conference –
the need for public awareness and understanding of environmental issues and concerns.
Dr. Manuel Lizarralde spoke of green imperialism and the relationship of indigenous people with
the conservation of natural environments. He emphasizes the importance of encouraging knowledge
and understanding of the environmental effects of the consumerism lifestyle, as well as recognizing
the expertise of indigenous people concerning their environment. Dr. Lizarralde dispenses with the
notion of the "noble savage," instead explaining that indigenous people often do not have the
technology to cause extensive environmental damage. This should serve as a warning to those of us
inhabiting the western developed nations. Choices we make every day can degrade our own
environment, as well as that of indigenous people in the

Consciousness : The Conscious Mind Essay
Consciousness in Animals The conscious mind is a complex thing that has many questions that
science is yet to answer. The conscious is composed by awareness and responsiveness in one's mind,
it is expressed by one's emotions, thoughts, and actions. Consciousness to me is defined by the
ability to be aware and responsive. Awareness is an element that distinguishes the conscious from
the unconscious. To be aware is to be knowledgeable of your surroundings and to know what is
happening in the world around you. Similar to awareness, the ability to respond to situations or react
is part of consciousness. Responding can be interpreted as emotions, actions, and thoughts, these are
important factors that contribute to the overall concept of consciousness.
As consciousness remains an unsolved mystery to the science world, we know a lot about elements
that make up the consciousness. Some of the elements associated with consciousness is one's unique
thoughts, memories, feelings and sensations. These elements are seen not only in human
consciousness but in animal conscious as well. We are able to study consciousness by observing the
behavior in humans and animals. Observing these actions we are able to see how consciousness
affects the subject 's life in an everyday basis. As we expand our knowledge of consciousness in the
human mind, we question and explore the consciousness in the mind of animals. The big question
here is: Are animals conscious? The abundant amount of studies

The Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics
Since the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics in 3100 BC[3], writing has been a part of human
expression. Initially, writing was used for recording the stories, myths, and histories of nations that
were once mighty world powers. But as time wore on and literacy increased to the point that
scholars weren't the only people that could relay messages, writing began to morph into a form of
expression. The written word became not only the best way of recording the linear timeline of what
happened when, but also the more abstract social and cultural aspects of everyday people living their
everyday lives. History became the ideologies, fears, and political aggravations recorded in the
books of the people, regardless of the genre. And as times ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

47 Rothman)[5]. Rothman discovered that when the rate of discussion was slowed down, students
that wouldn't normally speak in class would have time to gather their thoughts so that they could
accurately contribute to the discussion. If a true democracy is to be had, this inclusion is crucial, but
extremely difficult without the help of writing. One author by the name of Eduardo Galeano writes
about this concept of inclusion through writing in his book Open Veins of Latin America. He makes
the argument that the reason authors write is to make sure that underrepresented voices are heard. In
his words, "One writes, in reality, for the people whose luck or misfortune one identifies with – the
hungry, the sleepless, the rebels, and the wretched of this earth – and the majority of them are
illiterate. (p.12 Galeano)[3]. It is authors like Galeano describes, that increase the amount of
inclusion in the democracy of life. In discussing why he writes, Galeano simultaneously raises
awareness about the plight of the downtrodden.
Consequently, and possibly accidentally, Galeano's attempts to include the downtrodden in his books
also had the effect of raising awareness for their plight. Though he was one of the pioneering writers
for change, many other authors have used their writing prowess to raise awareness. One of these
authors was a

Reflection On Children
Over the course of the semester we have discussed and analyzed several issues and situations that
can create adverse conditions for children. Unfortunately, the society in the U.S. portrays children as
being fragile and vulnerable. Thus, leading to the belief that children require an immense need for
protecting and sheltering from troublesome events. However, as we have progressed through the
stories of several children from various eras and backgrounds. It has become quite clear that the
children are actually quite capable of handling adverse situations. We examined the agonizing
conditions of slavery and prejudice that African American children have endured. For example, in
the reading by Frederick Douglas he explained his awareness of being imprisoned by slavery
conditions at a very young age. It was this level of awareness and understanding of how these
actions went against his basic human rights that afforded him the ability to break free from the
atrocities of slavery. Moreover, it was what allowed him to realize that learning to read was another
way to combat and ultimately free himself from slavery. As he stated "[i]t was a grand achievement,
and I prized it highly. From that moment, I understood the pathway from slavery to freedom"
(Douglas 59). Thus, proving to illustrate the significant amount of strength and resiliency children
do possess. In a society where children are primarily an afterthought, it is imperative for adults to
begin to understand that children

How Does Suicide Affect Teens
Suicide is a major problem in today's society. It is an even bigger problem for teenagers because
suicide is the third leading cause of death for 15– to 24–year–olds (Teen Suicide Statistics). The
Show 13 Reasons Why that premiered on Netflix showcases this important issue. This show will
have a major impact because it is reaching such a wide audience and has become so popular among
teens. Although the show 13 Reasons Why is said to be damaging to teens because it's very graphic,
it is actually beneficial to teenagers because it raises awareness about bullying and will prevent
suicide.
This popular show 13 Reasons Why, is very influential and can really pass along advice to the
viewers. This show can raise awareness about bullying among all teenagers in this day in society. In
the article "Get the Facts," it says, "... that 15% of students reported seriously considering suicide,
11% reported creating a plan, and 7% reporting trying to take their own life" (Get The Facts). This
shows how bullying can eventually lead to suicide. In a second sourced labeled "Facts About Teens,
Suicide and "13 Reasons Why,"" Ron Avi Astor at the University of Southern California analyzed
responses to the California Healthy Kids survey that was given to middle and high school kids
across the state. The responses from the survey said this, "Can bullying really influence someone to

Courageous Conversations About Race: Chapter 5
Authors Glenn E. Singleton and Curtis Linton in Chapter Five of Courageous Conversations About
Race broach the topic of race, by asking the reader to evaluate his or her own consciousness of race.
According to the authors, in order to address the achievement gaps between African American
students and White students, educators should shift their energy towards focusing on the factors that
they have direct control of inside the classroom rather than on the factors that influence this
achievement disparity between races outside the classroom.
The first step towards addressing the racial achievement gap begins with educators addressing his or

Growing up in Park Ridge, Illinois was significantly different from where I was born in Morristown,
New Jersey. One of the most startling differences was apparent in the make–up of the student body.
In Morristown, I attended an elementary school with a diverse student body; many of my
schoolmates were African American and I remember even at a young age, students regardless of
race interacting all–together without any sense of stigma attached to it. In that sense, while attending
elementary school, since it was the norm to have friends of different races, I did not think very much
of my race. However, in contrast to living in Morristown, when I moved to Park Ridge, Illinois at
the start of middle school, I will never forget meeting my classmates for the first time only to realize
not one was of a different race. In fact, there was not one African American in my entire middle
school! This was shocking to me. Transferring from a diverse school community to a completely
homogenous school community made me more aware of my race simply because there

Personal Narrative: Knowing Ourselves Through Introspection
I am interested in learning more about chapter fives Knowing Ourselves through Introspection
because I am always interested in learning more about myself. I enjoy reading things about my
personality especially when it's right. Horoscopes, zodiac signs, blood types, genetic's, and birth
order are all things that interest me just because they act as an reinforcer to why I act the way I do.
So this is just another way for me to understand myself and I enjoy that. I believe that this is
important because knowing oneself means that you can control yourself and become a greater part
of society. Socrates one of the greatest known philosophers who question both identity and

example of that would be that I hate the color yellow so it rarely is in any of my art I do but I like
reds and blues so I am more likely to use those colors. Another example, is that I don't draw a lot of
abstract things I prefer natural pretty things that have subjects such as animals, plants, landscapes,

The Congress for New Urbanism and Environmental Awareness
In the last two decades the New Urbanism movement has begun among planners, designers, and
builders. Though it does not provide complete solutions to many of the environmental problems
caused by human development, it shows a greater awareness of the undesirable and potentially
destructive tendencies exhibited by conventional methods of design, planning and construction.
Robert Davis, board chairman of the Congress for the New Urbanism, describes the problem of
urban sprawl and development.

Human Nature And Awareness Toward Environmental Protection
Many individuals are unaware of the harm that they cause to our planet. We live in a society where
we eat and use electricity without knowing where it comes from or what damage it might cause to
our planet. We have needs that do no make sense to the rest of the world. While some of us enjoy
our luxurious meals, other individuals are given little choice. Richer countries have been
accustomed to the point where many are unaware of the problems that they cause. The ecological
footprint is a very good tool to show us how we use our nature and raise awareness toward
environmental protection. After taking my ecological footprint quiz I was surprised that my results
were so poor. I think of myself who is environmentally stable. I do not litter by throwing garbage on
the streets, I even pick up any garbage that I see thrown in sanitary places. My ecological footprint
said that we would need 4.6 planets earths to provide enough resources if everyone lived like me.
This quiz educated me that I am not environmentally friendly as I think I am. Also, in order to
support my lifestyle it takes about 22.6 tons of carbon dioxide. My main cause to this planet is my
consumption of energy. Usually I drive about 70 miles everyday because I commute to school. I
never realized how much energy that takes until now. Driving is one of the most polluting things
that we do especially here in the United States. Consumption of gasoline can release toxic wastes
that can cause air pollution, which

The Impact Of Catcalling
Imagine walking down the street during summer in a summer dress and passing by a man you do not

Catcalling is a serious social issue encountered today especially by women. It is a harsh or shrill call
or whistle expressing derision or disapproval according to the dictionary. Today, it may sound more
like a compliment rather than disapproval. But, catcalls are not compliments at all because they are
usually done by strangers in an aggressively sexual manner. They are creepy and can cause fear
because they tend to grab an unsuspecting woman's attention for fun and entertainment. Although it
may depend on one's delivery and intention due to the difference between a polite greeting and a
catcall (Aquino, 2014). Catcalls are usually ignored by women today to prevent the cause of tension
between them and catcallers. However, awareness about its damaging effects is being raised because

made to help raise awareness and to empower women's rights. Earlier petitions that were made were
ignored due to the history that women were inferior to men. But today, the continuing empowerment
of women has created great opportunities for them to reopen the petition. Women's actions towards
this might be ignoring something about what they have heard, talking back, and maybe telling the
authorities about their encounters. Most women feel being disrespected by the opposite sex, anxious
and angry that triggers them sometimes to have low self– esteem. The main point of this street
harassment is that not all women feels happy about this but rather they feel quite the opposite. This

How has Branden helped us to achieve a life of consciousness? Well for starters, he helps us in his

telling us to sit down once in a while and just examine our lives. What is it that we are doing wrong
and what are we doing wrong? If we can do this with all the other stuff that Branden explains in his
book such as doing daily exercises with sentence stems and see what you come up with can help

of this is that Branden is telling us to open up our eyes a little bit more and we can start living a

The Robots Rebellion By Keith E. Stanovich
Consciousness a term explained as being aware of all surroundings, emerging from the functions of
the brain. When a person gets used to something they may be able to think of other things at the
same time, until a change happens, then they regain their consciousness to what they were doing.
This essay is to further explore the target which is the slides from lecture 17 consciousness using the
slides Meanings and automatization by using examples from the book " The Robots Rebellion" by
Keith E. Stanovich, which is the base to further explain and expand on these points. Consciousness
can be linked to multiple things, such as how we do things, why we do things and anything that is
related to being aware or awake. When a person is conscious of their behaviour, actions and
abilities, they are then capable of accomplishing anything without any difficulties. When genes are
produced and replicated the human body is then aware of what to do, causing the brain to become
stronger. In the book it mentions how we are aware of the idea that we are the vehicles and our
genes are the replicators. Genes are seen as the most powerful but as the brain becomes more highly
developed it takes over more policy decisions, using learning and simulation to overrule. Therefore
showing that when a human is conscious of the power of genes they are able to take over that task.

Exploring and identifying consciousness through observation and understanding the movement of
naturally occurring elements using scientific explanation alongside artistic and philosophical
exploration to determine the nature of consciousness within all life forms and matter and whether
possible definition could reside in a combination of these separate disciplines?
Introduction
I believe understanding consciousness and giving it a platform to stand without disproval or being
discredited is crucial for the development of our society and understanding our relationship to one
another. I want to explore and identify consciousness through observation and understanding of
naturally occurring elements. I will use scientific and artistic explanation alongside philosophy and
exploration of the use of psychedelic drugs to try and determine the nature of consciousness and
whether matter is in fact conscious and if our own consciousness is capable of extending past the
impermanence of our flesh.
The nature of human consciousness is ever debatable, questionable and somewhat unexplainable.
We continuously make conscious decisions without recognition for how we as a species are capable
of doing so, it is understood by materialistic science that our consciousness is a product of our brain
activity and nothing more however there is an abundance of research that suggests this may not be
the case and our conscious mind extends into our environment ultimately connecting us to

Violence And The Secret Life Of Bees
While violence helps spread awareness, violence also expresses the realistic nature of the novel.
Violence is exposed throughout the everyday life as seen on media, films, and literature. The
chronicles of most nations and their societies contain violence. By hiding the content of violence is
to remain silent about it. Hiding violence just constructs it so that people are hiding a part of reality
and leading others to believe the world is not like that when it is. Furthermore, it creates a weak,
naive group of people who thinks everything is untroubled. For instance, parents who shield their
children away from violence creates a false sense of reality. Additionally, violence is a great way to
understand the world as it is. Meanwhile, the society perpetuates violence on TV, media, movies,
video games, yet it is all hypocritical to ban a book such as The Secret Life of Bees. ... Show more

Banning the book is not merely because of ethical reasons, but more for political reasons. It is

notes that "For life, even at its darkest, can hold the promise of hope and positive change–especially
when we read about it with open minds and hearts, with intellectual attention and emotional

society and the issue. Whereas, ignoring the issue has never solved anything. Violence in literature

people between the age of 15 and 24 have been cyberbullied. Cyberbullying has been an issue since
the internet was first introduced for public use, and it is still a rising issue today. That is why it is our
job to fix it.
"What is cyberbullying?" you may be wondering. According to Dictionary.com, cyberbullying is
"the act of harassing someone online by sending or posting mean messages, usually anonymously".2
A strong example of cyberbullying would be a scenario in which someone at a school or place of
work were to get a hold of someone's phone number, and repeatedly send them mean or intimidating
texts that cause them to become stressed, worried, angry, depressed, or even suicidal, overall having
a significant negative effect on their work ethic. Another example of cyberbullying would be if
someone were to take an embarrassing photo or video of a peer and spread it around through online
social media, causing people to make fun of that person, or even bully them more, and overall
resulting in significant negative effects on their daily life and reputation, and sometimes, in rare
cases, suicide. While cyberbullying is less frequent than traditional bullying,3 it is still a major issue
for people worldwide, especially youth. Studies have shown that over half of school students are

Celebrity Activism

Activism Awareness Do you think celebrity activism is a positive or negative thing? That's the
question. To me, I think celebrity activism has a very positive effect on society and should become
more popular. More celebrities should become activists because activists have a long successful
history, celebrity activism helps draw attention to all different kinds of issues & activism gives
celebrities an opportunity to use their wealth for the good of something greater than themselves.
Celebrity activism really helps out the less fortunate and gives back to the community. Since a lot of

Awareness Of Physical Activity Guidelines
Awareness of physical activity guidelines amongst the UK student population was found to be
69.6% in this study. This varies considerably from awareness levels determine on a national level in
other developed, high income countries similar to the UK. A recent study in America for example,
found that just 36.1% of adults were aware that government physical activity guidelines (Kay et al.,
2014). This difference in awareness may be explained by a number of factors. Knowledge and
awareness of physical activity guidelines has been shown to be positively associated with education
level and socioeconomic status, as well as being negatively associated with age (Knox et al., 2013;
Bergman et al., 2008). This may partially explain why the university students in this study had a
higher level of awareness than the wider general population. When asked to recite the guidelines, it
has been found in other studies that those who participate in higher levels of physical activity, tend
to overestimate the guidelines, and those with low physical activity levels underestimate them on
average (Hunter et al., 2014; Knox et al., 2015). This agrees with the findings from this study, in
which variation between the perceived and actual guidelines was found to be an independent
predictor of physical activity (p > 0.05).
Whilst most participants (over 65%) in the study believed that they understood what the terms
'moderate' and 'vigorous' physical activity meant. However, when their understanding was

needed any help with her part in the event; she needed help setting up tables at various YMCA
locations throughout Centre County. Although it was short notice and required a few hours of
driving, I offered to help Jamie set up the tables. Because of my helpful nature, I took the task off of

1. Introduction
As the world's population is increasing, the demand of the energy usage is also increasing and the
direct solution is to find and implement newer energy sources. As a consequence, sometimes
farming lands are exploited
Mining companies are investigating and discovering different types of energy sources to meet the
energy demand. One option for a different kind of energy supply is coal seam gas.
Coal seam gas is essentially methane, which is the main component of the gas.
This project investigates the potential, use and extraction of coal seam gas as a source of energy,

For use in electricity production, the coal seam gas will be cooled into liquefied natural gas
(LNG) at the conclusion of the production cycle. [1]
Uses of Coal Seam Gas
As the world is moving towards renewable energy coal seam is seen as clean and reliable energy
source of energy production. The example of coal seam gas is used in refineries and electricity
production. To generate electricity, clean burning gas is then ignited in a combustion chamber which
turns a large generator in producing electrical energy.
The heat from the burning gas also boils water to produce electricity from another generator. It
discharges half the greenhouse gases of the coal–fired stations when powered fired stations by coal.
Like any other gases, coal seam gas may be used to heat their homes and cook our food [2].
It has identified Australia's recognized and unrecognized gas reserves are estimated to be
38,000. [2]

The Importance Of Emotional Intelligence
The ability to be aware of, control and express ones emotions well is known as emotional
intelligence. Emotional intelligence will help you understand your own feelings in everyday life,
and also helps to strengthen your relationship with others by knowing how to deal with emotional
situations. According to Daniel Goleman, whom is known as an author and journalist, he claims that
emotional intelligence is dependent on four domains. Self– awareness, self– management, social
awareness (empathy), and relationship management (social skills). Your ability to have emotional
intelligence with everyday life can benefit your personal life and you experiences with others by
allowing you to react properly to different situations.
Emotional intelligence can greatly improve your relationships with others as well as improve your
social skills. Social awareness can be considered as empathy, empathy is basically having the ability
to understand and share emotions with another well. Being empathetic will improve your friendships
and your relationships with others because you will be viewed as a understanding person who will
be able to listen and understand someone else's situation or view point on something. When you
have people, family, and friends that feel like they can trust you then they will be more open and
possibly more helpful towards you in order to try and return the favor, meaning they will in turn be
empathetic towards you. Social skills will be needed to get through life because you will need the
ability in a work area to understanding emotions, yours as well as others. Talking to others will help
you improve your social skills throughout life ad different experiences. Being empathetic allows you
to become a great listener and being self– aware allows you to know how you can improve on
yourself and will help you to be mentally stable. To have the ability to understand and recognize
your own feelings is known as self– awareness. To be able to control your feelings is known as self–
management. Having the ability to understand how and how to recognize and control your emotions

Concrete Angel Analysis
Analysis of "Concrete Angel"
Many generations view music as a form of entertainment only, so our society tends to overlook the
messages behind the music. Many artists use music to promote their beliefs or inform their listeners
about overlooked issues. Music spreads awareness about misfortunes in the world, and Martina
McBride used her celebrity status to promote her own concerns about child abuse. In 2002, Martina
McBride recorded a song "Concrete Angel" to spread awareness about child abuse. Her song is
intended for the general population that are bystanders because most people are aware of tragedies
such as child abuse, and most tragedies can be prevented. Through the elements of plot, character,
and foreshadowing, "Concrete Angel" illustrates the story of a young girl's abuse in order to call the
bystanders to awareness of the societal problem. Throughout the song, the plot consists of multiple
bystanders. The bystander that is mentioned in verse two is, "The teacher wonders, but she doesn't
ask/It's hard to see the pain behind the mask" (lines 5–6). The teacher suspects the girl has an issue
with abuse, but she ignores her suspicions, assuming the girl is happy because she hides it well. The
teacher's reaction is a common experience for many adults because adults assume the child appears
okay. The following situation that involved a bystander was, "Somebody cries in the middle of the
night/The neighbors hear, but they turn out the light" (15–16). The lyric states that

Youth Violence And Its Effect On Children
Since the year 2000, youth violence has been one of the biggest concerns in almost every
community. In my research I decided to evaluate the study of youth violence. Youth violence is said
to start since the early days of childhood and lead onto the teenage years of a child. When talking
about youth violence, the child may not only be an offender but they can be a victim of violence as
well. Bullying, punching, slapping, kicking, teasing, and verbal abuse are all behaviors and forms of
mistreatment that can harm someone both physically and emotionally. These acts can occur at home,
school, afterschool programs, and even among friends. Some parents tend to overlook the
importance of youth violence among their kids. In some cases the parents aren't even aware that
their child might be either an offender or a victim of youth violence. Some parents at home try to
talk to their children to make sure their kids aren't victim of youth violence and in the process they
talk to them about the dangerous being violent towards others. In my research, I discovered that
some of the causes to why kids are so violent is because of either the lack of parental attention, not
given parental discipline, they are victims of abuse at home, or even taught to be violent by the
games and movies they are exposed to by the media. Which is why now a days the community tries
to work together to create a safe environment for their children. They try to involve the children into
programs that teaches them

Persuasive Essay About Cheating In School

the test, but later on she ends up giving in to the pressure and helps Daniel cheat on the test. In
comparison, I was cheated off of and it almost cost me my grade. Sharing answers for homework

Emotional Intelligence And Self Awareness Essay
Introduction
Emotional intelligence is conceptualized as a person's ability to overcome stress, communicate
effectively, understand others, cope with challenges, and solve conflicts by identifying, using,
understanding, and managing their emotions positively (Gines, 2015). Emotional intelligence allows
individuals to understand others, without necessarily talking to them. This understanding is vital
since it influences the way we relate with other people. Emotional intelligence can be defined using
four components which include self–awareness, self–management, social awareness, and
relationship management (Segal, Smith, & Shubin, 2016). The essay focuses on these four
components and the skills that help in building emotional intelligence.
Components of Emotional Intelligence
Self–awareness involves the ability to understand and evaluate your own emotions through
reflection, self–comparisons and feedback from others (Steiner, 2014). Self–awareness aims at
enhancing self–knowledge, behavioral, and emotional improvements, and accommodating
weaknesses (Steiner, 2014). It allows individuals to understand how they think, behave, and respond
to situations that they encounter. To achieve this, feedback from other people is required. People
who are self–aware are self–driven, resourceful, eager to learn, self–motivated, and problem–
solvers. They also portray independence of self–concept (Steiner, 2014). Self–awareness helps an
individual to practice effective self–management.

creating a productive organization. Each person brings a history, culture, and a set of beliefs that
shaped them into who they are now. These differences should be celebrated, because differences are
what help organizations accomplish positive change. The way I approach leading is heavily focused
on how I treat my followers. This is why I focus on understanding how each one is unique.

I grew up not being as exposed to the world of diversity. This is why I decided on level three,
questioning and self–exploration. At this point I am aware of all the information that I lack on
certain subjects. Because of this revelation I actively search out information about race, religion,
sexual orientation, gender spectrum and general opinions over commonly discussed issues. I believe
that in this globalized world people do need to become more aware of the differences in people in
order to embrace humanity as a whole. The next step to becoming more culturally aware is to
continue to gather more information. On the other hand Garrett was more generous and decided that
I am in level five, validation of diversity. He believes that I already have enough understanding of
different beliefs and practices. He describes how I take other people into consideration when
working with and talking to others. I appreciate his insight into how he views my knowledge of
cultural awareness. Before I am willing to agree with Garrett I know that there is more information

The Differences Between Dementia And Alzheimer 's Disease
When a lot of people think about dementia or Alzheimer's disease, they usually use the two
interchangeably and think they have to do with memory. It is true that they have to do with memory,
but there are major differences between dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Misconceptions and lack
of knowledge can lead to death or injury, which is why initiatives like Healthy People 2020 are so
important. Dementias and Alzheimer's affect a person's daily life in many ways and it can be
dangerous or deadly if not diagnosed and dealt with properly. It is important that there is an increase
in people and their caregivers who are aware of the diagnosis and a decrease in preventable
hospitalizations. Before explaining why this initiative is so important, it is necessary to explain the
differences between dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Dementia is actually not a disease. It's a
bunch of symptoms and is seen more as an umbrella term ( ). It is generally used to describe the loss
or decline of cognitive functioning to the point where it affects the person's daily life. Dementia
occurs in people who have diseases such as " " ( ). It is generally seen as an elder problem that
develops as someone ages, but this is not necessarily true. Most people who have dementia or
Alzheimer's are 65 or older, but there is a type of dementia that affects younger people. This type is
called Early–Onset Dementia (EOD) that affects people under 65 years, while 65 years and older
would be Late–Onset Dementia

The Themes Of Discovery In The Discovery, By Michael Gow

  • 1. The Themes Of Discovery In The Discovery, By Michael Gow Discovery comprises the understanding of uncovering something for the first time or refinding something that has been forgotten or something has not yet been explored. Disclosures can be provoking and confronting. The impact can be transformative. They are able to lead us to new worlds and values, venture new thoughts, and allow us to gamble about future possibilities. Their effect can be life–changing for the individual and for a broader community. discovery may be interrogated or confronted when viewed from different aspects and their value may be reconsidered over time. The play "Away" by Michael Gow and the poem "The discovery" by Gwendolyn MacEwan, both texts consists of the themes about discovery. "Away" by Michael Gow is a play in a play. It is about three Australian families who went on holidays in mid–summer up the coast where they were driven together by the storm. The storm leads the families to discover new people, places and has renewed understandings of themselves and others. In the play, Gow explores the themes of suffering, regeneration, grief, and the healing effects that can have on an individual. And, "The discovery" by MacEwan is a poem about constant exploration and how nothing can ever fully be understood. MacEwan in her poem explains about how nothing can ever fully be understood by telling us that there is always another thing that you may not be aware of and that must be taken into account. Education and Awareness Will Promote Environmental Justice The goals of this environmental justice conference are stated simply: firstly, to explore whether racial minorities and the poor are being environmentally victimized, and secondly, to evaluate public policies that promote environmental fairness. Each speaker provided insight and information from their respective area of expertise. Led by keynote speaker Dr. Bunyan Bryant, they drew upon the realms of academic investigation, government and public policy, sociology, healthcare, and philosophy to unite the environmental movement with the quest for social justice. After absorbing so much information concerning the current state of environmental justice, one leaves the conference ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Additionally, many conferences over the years have contributed to the organization and dissemination of information vital to the growth of the environmental justice movement. As the movement continues to grow and hopefully breach international boundaries, Dr. Bryant emphasizes the importance of promoting an understanding of the central issues of race, income, intent, pollution control versus prevention, positivism and participatory research, and top–down versus bottom–up perspectives of investigation. Overall, Dr. Bryant's talk reveals the uniting theme of the conference – the need for public awareness and understanding of environmental issues and concerns. Dr. Manuel Lizarralde spoke of green imperialism and the relationship of indigenous people with the conservation of natural environments. He emphasizes the importance of encouraging knowledge and understanding of the environmental effects of the consumerism lifestyle, as well as recognizing the expertise of indigenous people concerning their environment. Dr. Lizarralde dispenses with the notion of the "noble savage," instead explaining that indigenous people often do not have the technology to cause extensive environmental damage. This should serve as a warning to those of us inhabiting the western developed nations. Choices we make every day can degrade our own environment, as well as that of indigenous people in the ... • 9. Consciousness : The Conscious Mind Essay Consciousness in Animals The conscious mind is a complex thing that has many questions that science is yet to answer. The conscious is composed by awareness and responsiveness in one's mind, it is expressed by one's emotions, thoughts, and actions. Consciousness to me is defined by the ability to be aware and responsive. Awareness is an element that distinguishes the conscious from the unconscious. To be aware is to be knowledgeable of your surroundings and to know what is happening in the world around you. Similar to awareness, the ability to respond to situations or react is part of consciousness. Responding can be interpreted as emotions, actions, and thoughts, these are important factors that contribute to the overall concept of consciousness. As consciousness remains an unsolved mystery to the science world, we know a lot about elements that make up the consciousness. Some of the elements associated with consciousness is one's unique thoughts, memories, feelings and sensations. These elements are seen not only in human consciousness but in animal conscious as well. We are able to study consciousness by observing the behavior in humans and animals. Observing these actions we are able to see how consciousness affects the subject 's life in an everyday basis. As we expand our knowledge of consciousness in the human mind, we question and explore the consciousness in the mind of animals. The big question here is: Are animals conscious? The abundant amount of studies ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 13. The Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics Since the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics in 3100 BC[3], writing has been a part of human expression. Initially, writing was used for recording the stories, myths, and histories of nations that were once mighty world powers. But as time wore on and literacy increased to the point that scholars weren't the only people that could relay messages, writing began to morph into a form of expression. The written word became not only the best way of recording the linear timeline of what happened when, but also the more abstract social and cultural aspects of everyday people living their everyday lives. History became the ideologies, fears, and political aggravations recorded in the books of the people, regardless of the genre. And as times ... Rothman discovered that when the rate of discussion was slowed down, students that wouldn't normally speak in class would have time to gather their thoughts so that they could accurately contribute to the discussion. If a true democracy is to be had, this inclusion is crucial, but extremely difficult without the help of writing. One author by the name of Eduardo Galeano writes about this concept of inclusion through writing in his book Open Veins of Latin America. He makes the argument that the reason authors write is to make sure that underrepresented voices are heard. In his words, "One writes, in reality, for the people whose luck or misfortune one identifies with – the hungry, the sleepless, the rebels, and the wretched of this earth – and the majority of them are illiterate. (p.12 Galeano)[3]. It is authors like Galeano describes, that increase the amount of inclusion in the democracy of life. In discussing why he writes, Galeano simultaneously raises awareness about the plight of the downtrodden. Consequently, and possibly accidentally, Galeano's attempts to include the downtrodden in his books also had the effect of raising awareness for their plight. Though he was one of the pioneering writers for change, many other authors have used their writing prowess to raise awareness. One of these authors was a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 22. Reflection On Children Over the course of the semester we have discussed and analyzed several issues and situations that can create adverse conditions for children. Unfortunately, the society in the U.S. portrays children as being fragile and vulnerable. Thus, leading to the belief that children require an immense need for protecting and sheltering from troublesome events. However, as we have progressed through the stories of several children from various eras and backgrounds. It has become quite clear that the children are actually quite capable of handling adverse situations. We examined the agonizing conditions of slavery and prejudice that African American children have endured. For example, in the reading by Frederick Douglas he explained his awareness of being imprisoned by slavery conditions at a very young age. It was this level of awareness and understanding of how these actions went against his basic human rights that afforded him the ability to break free from the atrocities of slavery. Moreover, it was what allowed him to realize that learning to read was another way to combat and ultimately free himself from slavery. As he stated "[i]t was a grand achievement, and I prized it highly. From that moment, I understood the pathway from slavery to freedom" (Douglas 59). Thus, proving to illustrate the significant amount of strength and resiliency children do possess. In a society where children are primarily an afterthought, it is imperative for adults to begin to understand that children ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is an even bigger problem for teenagers because suicide is the third leading cause of death for 15– to 24–year–olds (Teen Suicide Statistics). The Show 13 Reasons Why that premiered on Netflix showcases this important issue. This show will have a major impact because it is reaching such a wide audience and has become so popular among teens. According to the authors, in order to address the achievement gaps between African American students and White students, educators should shift their energy towards focusing on the factors that they have direct control of inside the classroom rather than on the factors that influence this achievement disparity between races outside the classroom. The first step towards addressing the racial achievement gap begins with educators addressing his or her individual racial attitudes for, as the authors ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Growing up in Park Ridge, Illinois was significantly different from where I was born in Morristown, New Jersey. One of the most startling differences was apparent in the make–up of the student body. In Morristown, I attended an elementary school with a diverse student body; many of my schoolmates were African American and I remember even at a young age, students regardless of race interacting all–together without any sense of stigma attached to it. In that sense, while attending elementary school, since it was the norm to have friends of different races, I did not think very much of my race. However, in contrast to living in Morristown, when I moved to Park Ridge, Illinois at the start of middle school, I will never forget meeting my classmates for the first time only to realize not one was of a different race. In fact, there was not one African American in my entire middle school! This was shocking to me. The Congress for New Urbanism and Environmental Awareness In the last two decades the New Urbanism movement has begun among planners, designers, and builders. Though it does not provide complete solutions to many of the environmental problems caused by human development, it shows a greater awareness of the undesirable and potentially destructive tendencies exhibited by conventional methods of design, planning and construction. Robert Davis, board chairman of the Congress for the New Urbanism, describes the problem of urban sprawl and development. "For five millennia, we have built towns and cities with strong centers and clear edges, beyond which lay farms and forests and lakes and streams. For five decades these clear edges have ... The Congress for New Urbanism is an organization composed of builders, planners, and designers dedicated to setting up a formula for future development and the betterment of existing communities. By addressing the problems of "disinvestment in central cities, the spread of placeless sprawl, increased separation by race and income, environmental deterioration, loss of agricultural land and wilderness, and the erosion of societies built heritage" (http://www.cnu.org/nunjuly98.html) they plan to reinvest in current urban centers and towns by restructuring the expanding suburbs into more traditional communities. As a part of the solution, The Congress for New Urbanism created the New Urbanist Charter. Within the charter consideration is given to both conservation and preservation of the natural environment. Specifically, the charter states that "development patterns should not blur or eradicate the edge of the metropolis. Infill, development within existing urban areas, conserves environmental resources, economic investment, and social fabric, while reclaiming marginal and abandoned areas. Metropolitan regions should develop strategies to encourage such infill development over peripheral expansion." We live in a society where we eat and use electricity without knowing where it comes from or what damage it might cause to our planet. We have needs that do no make sense to the rest of the world. While some of us enjoy our luxurious meals, other individuals are given little choice. Richer countries have been accustomed to the point where many are unaware of the problems that they cause. The ecological footprint is a very good tool to show us how we use our nature and raise awareness toward environmental protection. After taking my ecological footprint quiz I was surprised that my results were so poor. I think of myself who is environmentally stable. What would you do? Catcalling is a serious social issue encountered today especially by women. It is a harsh or shrill call or whistle expressing derision or disapproval according to the dictionary. Today, it may sound more like a compliment rather than disapproval. But, catcalls are not compliments at all because they are usually done by strangers in an aggressively sexual manner. Although it may depend on one's delivery and intention due to the difference between a polite greeting and a catcall (Aquino, 2014). Women's actions towards this might be ignoring something about what they have heard, talking back, and maybe telling the authorities about their encounters. Most women feel being disrespected by the opposite sex, anxious and angry that triggers them sometimes to have low self– esteem. Well for starters, he helps us in his book with what he says in the different chapters in the book. One of the ways he helps us is by telling us to sit down once in a while and just examine our lives. What is it that we are doing wrong and what are we doing wrong? If we can do this with all the other stuff that Branden explains in his book such as doing daily exercises with sentence stems and see what you come up with can help your life in the simplest way. • 68. The Robots Rebellion By Keith E. Stanovich Consciousness a term explained as being aware of all surroundings, emerging from the functions of the brain. When a person gets used to something they may be able to think of other things at the same time, until a change happens, then they regain their consciousness to what they were doing. This essay is to further explore the target which is the slides from lecture 17 consciousness using the slides Meanings and automatization by using examples from the book " The Robots Rebellion" by Keith E. Stanovich, which is the base to further explain and expand on these points. Consciousness can be linked to multiple things, such as how we do things, why we do things and anything that is related to being aware or awake. When a person is conscious of their behaviour, actions and abilities, they are then capable of accomplishing anything without any difficulties. When genes are produced and replicated the human body is then aware of what to do, causing the brain to become stronger. In the book it mentions how we are aware of the idea that we are the vehicles and our genes are the replicators. Genes are seen as the most powerful but as the brain becomes more highly developed it takes over more policy decisions, using learning and simulation to overrule. Therefore showing that when a human is conscious of the power of genes they are able to take over that task. Dissertation Exploring and identifying consciousness through observation and understanding the movement of naturally occurring elements using scientific explanation alongside artistic and philosophical exploration to determine the nature of consciousness within all life forms and matter and whether possible definition could reside in a combination of these separate disciplines? Introduction I believe understanding consciousness and giving it a platform to stand without disproval or being discredited is crucial for the development of our society and understanding our relationship to one another. I want to explore and identify consciousness through observation and understanding of naturally occurring elements. I will use scientific and artistic explanation alongside philosophy and exploration of the use of psychedelic drugs to try and determine the nature of consciousness and whether matter is in fact conscious and if our own consciousness is capable of extending past the impermanence of our flesh. The nature of human consciousness is ever debatable, questionable and somewhat unexplainable. We continuously make conscious decisions without recognition for how we as a species are capable of doing so, it is understood by materialistic science that our consciousness is a product of our brain activity and nothing more however there is an abundance of research that suggests this may not be the case and our conscious mind extends into our environment ultimately connecting us to ... Violence is exposed throughout the everyday life as seen on media, films, and literature. The chronicles of most nations and their societies contain violence. By hiding the content of violence is to remain silent about it. Hiding violence just constructs it so that people are hiding a part of reality and leading others to believe the world is not like that when it is. Furthermore, it creates a weak, naive group of people who thinks everything is untroubled. For instance, parents who shield their children away from violence creates a false sense of reality. Additionally, violence is a great way to understand the world as it is. Meanwhile, the society perpetuates violence on TV, media, movies, video games, yet it is all hypocritical to ban a book such as The Secret Life of Bees. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Cyberbullying And Its Effect On Society About 97% of today's youth are connected to the internet in some way, and about 20–40% have experienced some form of cyberbullying at least once.1 This means that about 200–400 million people between the age of 15 and 24 have been cyberbullied. Cyberbullying has been an issue since the internet was first introduced for public use, and it is still a rising issue today. That is why it is our job to fix it. "What is cyberbullying?" you may be wondering. According to Dictionary.com, cyberbullying is "the act of harassing someone online by sending or posting mean messages, usually anonymously".2 A strong example of cyberbullying would be a scenario in which someone at a school or place of work were to get a hold of someone's phone number, and repeatedly send them mean or intimidating texts that cause them to become stressed, worried, angry, depressed, or even suicidal, overall having a significant negative effect on their work ethic. Another example of cyberbullying would be if someone were to take an embarrassing photo or video of a peer and spread it around through online social media, causing people to make fun of that person, or even bully them more, and overall resulting in significant negative effects on their daily life and reputation, and sometimes, in rare cases, suicide. While cyberbullying is less frequent than traditional bullying,3 it is still a major issue for people worldwide, especially youth. Studies have shown that over half of school students are bully ... This varies considerably from awareness levels determine on a national level in other developed, high income countries similar to the UK. A recent study in America for example, found that just 36.1% of adults were aware that government physical activity guidelines (Kay et al., 2014). This difference in awareness may be explained by a number of factors. Knowledge and awareness of physical activity guidelines has been shown to be positively associated with education level and socioeconomic status, as well as being negatively associated with age (Knox et al., 2013; Bergman et al., 2008). This may partially explain why the university students in this study had a higher level of awareness than the wider general population. When asked to recite the guidelines, it has been found in other studies that those who participate in higher levels of physical activity, tend to overestimate the guidelines, and those with low physical activity levels underestimate them on average (Hunter et al., 2014; Knox et al., 2015). This agrees with the findings from this study, in which variation between the perceived and actual guidelines was found to be an independent predictor of physical activity (p > 0.05). Whilst most participants (over 65%) in the study believed that they understood what the terms 'moderate' and 'vigorous' physical activity meant. However, when their understanding was ... • 133. Concrete Angel Analysis Analysis of "Concrete Angel" Many generations view music as a form of entertainment only, so our society tends to overlook the messages behind the music. Many artists use music to promote their beliefs or inform their listeners about overlooked issues. Music spreads awareness about misfortunes in the world, and Martina McBride used her celebrity status to promote her own concerns about child abuse. In 2002, Martina McBride recorded a song "Concrete Angel" to spread awareness about child abuse. Her song is intended for the general population that are bystanders because most people are aware of tragedies such as child abuse, and most tragedies can be prevented. Through the elements of plot, character, and foreshadowing, "Concrete Angel" illustrates the story of a young girl's abuse in order to call the bystanders to awareness of the societal problem. Throughout the song, the plot consists of multiple bystanders. The bystander that is mentioned in verse two is, "The teacher wonders, but she doesn't ask/It's hard to see the pain behind the mask" (lines 5–6). The teacher suspects the girl has an issue with abuse, but she ignores her suspicions, assuming the girl is happy because she hides it well. The teacher's reaction is a common experience for many adults because adults assume the child appears okay. The following situation that involved a bystander was, "Somebody cries in the middle of the night/The neighbors hear, but they turn out the light" (15–16). The lyric states that ... • 137. Youth Violence And Its Effect On Children Since the year 2000, youth violence has been one of the biggest concerns in almost every community. In my research I decided to evaluate the study of youth violence. Youth violence is said to start since the early days of childhood and lead onto the teenage years of a child. When talking about youth violence, the child may not only be an offender but they can be a victim of violence as well. Bullying, punching, slapping, kicking, teasing, and verbal abuse are all behaviors and forms of mistreatment that can harm someone both physically and emotionally. These acts can occur at home, school, afterschool programs, and even among friends. Some parents tend to overlook the importance of youth violence among their kids. In some cases the parents aren't even aware that their child might be either an offender or a victim of youth violence. Some parents at home try to talk to their children to make sure their kids aren't victim of youth violence and in the process they talk to them about the dangerous being violent towards others. In my research, I discovered that some of the causes to why kids are so violent is because of either the lack of parental attention, not given parental discipline, they are victims of abuse at home, or even taught to be violent by the games and movies they are exposed to by the media. Which is why now a days the community tries to work together to create a safe environment for their children. They try to involve the children into programs that teaches them ... • 141. Persuasive Essay About Cheating In School "Cheating in school is a form of self–deception. We go to school to learn. We cheat ourselves when we coast on the efforts and scholarship of someone else"– James E. Faust. Being rob of education is not what school is for, but to learn to be ready for the future. In the television show Freak and Geeks, by Paul Feig, the protagonist, Lindsay gets caught up in a scandal of cheating when trying to help a classmate. Cheating can be spotted from a mile away and happens more frequently than one would suspect. Lindsay being a straight–A student decides to tutor Daniel for his math test, so he doesn't repeat a year. Little did she know, tutoring him was more difficult than she expected. Daniel ends up stealing the test for Lindsay to complete and tells her "I'm not gonna be hitting you up every time I have a math test"(Feig). Therefore, Lindsay tries to tell Daniel that if he actually tries he could do well on the test, but later on she ends up giving in to the pressure and helps Daniel cheat on the test. In comparison, I was cheated off of and it almost cost me my grade. Sharing answers for homework was considered cheating, but students thought of it as nothing. However, when someone takes credit for your work, you feel ripped off your hard work. At the time I didn't realize the person cheated off of me until the teacher pulls me out and the student in the hallway to talk about why are answers were similar. My heart sank not knowing how the situation would turn out, but I knew I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 145. Emotional Intelligence And Self Awareness Essay Introduction Emotional intelligence is conceptualized as a person's ability to overcome stress, communicate effectively, understand others, cope with challenges, and solve conflicts by identifying, using, understanding, and managing their emotions positively (Gines, 2015). Emotional intelligence allows individuals to understand others, without necessarily talking to them. This understanding is vital since it influences the way we relate with other people. Emotional intelligence can be defined using four components which include self–awareness, self–management, social awareness, and relationship management (Segal, Smith, & Shubin, 2016). The essay focuses on these four components and the skills that help in building emotional intelligence. Components of Emotional Intelligence Self–awareness involves the ability to understand and evaluate your own emotions through reflection, self–comparisons and feedback from others (Steiner, 2014). Self–awareness aims at enhancing self–knowledge, behavioral, and emotional improvements, and accommodating weaknesses (Steiner, 2014). It allows individuals to understand how they think, behave, and respond to situations that they encounter. To achieve this, feedback from other people is required. People who are self–aware are self–driven, resourceful, eager to learn, self–motivated, and problem– solvers. They also portray independence of self–concept (Steiner, 2014). Self–awareness helps an individual to practice effective self–management. An ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 149. Understanding Diversity For my leadership rubric I choose diversity. Understanding the diversity of a group is essential to creating a productive organization. Each person brings a history, culture, and a set of beliefs that shaped them into who they are now. These differences should be celebrated, because differences are what help organizations accomplish positive change. The way I approach leading is heavily focused on how I treat my followers. This is why I focus on understanding how each one is unique. Understanding diversity is an important concept that I try to consider when working with a group. After considering the diversity rubric this is my evaluation on how I currently preform. In addition I had Garrett Medellin look at the diversity rubric and make his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I grew up not being as exposed to the world of diversity. This is why I decided on level three, questioning and self–exploration. At this point I am aware of all the information that I lack on certain subjects. Because of this revelation I actively search out information about race, religion, sexual orientation, gender spectrum and general opinions over commonly discussed issues. I believe that in this globalized world people do need to become more aware of the differences in people in order to embrace humanity as a whole. The next step to becoming more culturally aware is to continue to gather more information. On the other hand Garrett was more generous and decided that I am in level five, validation of diversity. He believes that I already have enough understanding of different beliefs and practices. He describes how I take other people into consideration when working with and talking to others. I appreciate his insight into how he views my knowledge of cultural awareness. Before I am willing to agree with Garrett I know that there is more information to know. I will agree with Socrates when he says "One thing I know is that I know nothing". When interacting with others Garrett and I both agree that I fall into level five, validation. I support the ideas and concepts that others add to the discussion based on their different backgrounds. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 157. The Differences Between Dementia And Alzheimer 's Disease When a lot of people think about dementia or Alzheimer's disease, they usually use the two interchangeably and think they have to do with memory. It is true that they have to do with memory, but there are major differences between dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Misconceptions and lack of knowledge can lead to death or injury, which is why initiatives like Healthy People 2020 are so important. Dementias and Alzheimer's affect a person's daily life in many ways and it can be dangerous or deadly if not diagnosed and dealt with properly. It is important that there is an increase in people and their caregivers who are aware of the diagnosis and a decrease in preventable hospitalizations. Before explaining why this initiative is so important, it is necessary to explain the differences between dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Dementia is actually not a disease. It's a bunch of symptoms and is seen more as an umbrella term ( ). It is generally used to describe the loss or decline of cognitive functioning to the point where it affects the person's daily life. Dementia occurs in people who have diseases such as " " ( ). It is generally seen as an elder problem that develops as someone ages, but this is not necessarily true. Most people who have dementia or Alzheimer's are 65 or older, but there is a type of dementia that affects younger people. This type is called Early–Onset Dementia (EOD) that affects people under 65 years, while 65 years and older would be Late–Onset Dementia ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
