2. A Night in New York- 2019 Pride Prom
• Students of SCI- you are invited to the 2019 “ A Night in New York”
themed Pride Prom.
• It is at Bear Creek Secondary School, on Friday April 26th, from 7-
10pm
• Transportation is available for students.
• Tickets are only $15
3. Today will be the last tryout for
the Girls Softball team. We will
be practicing at the diamond at
Ives’ Park today so anyone that
needs a ride over must let Ms.
Jacobi or Ms. Polasek know.

5. Nominations are now open for the Valedictorian for the Class of 2019
The successful candidate will represent the graduating class at Commencement this June.
Graduating students can nominate someone to fill this important role.
If you want to nominate someone to be your valedictorian, see the remind text from Mr.
Murray or come to the office to pick up the link. Nominations will only be accepted online.

ATTENTION grade 12 graduates. If you have been accepted in to a university program, Ray’s
place encourages you to apply for a scholarship. If you have been accepted in to a college
program , including trades or apprenticeship program, Ray’s place encourages you to apply
for a bursary. See Mr. Murray for an application or go on-line.
Deadline for both scholarship and bursary applications is May 2nd.
9. Clearview Youth Centre Events
• The Clearview Youth Centre will be running a fundraiser for United
Way Simcoe Muskoka. We will be holding a competition and
awarding prizes to the youth who raise the most money. This is a
great opportunity for students to get involved, give a little something
back to the community, and win great prizes!
• For more information talk to Mr. Murray or the Clearview Youth
Centre staff!

• SCI Scholarship Application-
• Attention Graduating Students! The 2019 SCI Scholarship Application
is now available online. These awards allow students to be recognized
for all of their achievements as Spartans, and they’re also a great way
to help pay for post-secondary costs. However, you can’t win one
unless you complete the application. Check out the link

Rugby Club is looking for players. Boys and
