7. The Grade 9 Dodgeball team is looking for some
competition to prepare for their big tournament
on May 2nd. We need grade 10, 11 and 12 teams
to challenge them next Tuesday at lunch. If

Do you drink Tim Horton’s coffee? We NEED you to please drop off

10. Equity Conference 2017
• Listen up, Social Change Makers! This year’s Equity Conference will
be taking place at Georgian College on May 2nd. This is a full day
conference that is available to Grade 9 and 10 students only. Don’t
miss out because SCI will only be eligible to attend on alternate
years… and this is our year! This is a great opportunity to build your
equity leadership skills, identify areas to improve school climate, and
create action in your school or community. For more information, see

don’t leave it until the last minute.

11. Pride Prom 2017- CANDYLAND
• The GSA is proud to extend an invitation to all LGTBQ students or
their allies to this year’s Pride Prom taking place at Bear Creek
Secondary School on Friday , April 28. The cost is $10 and you must
have a completed permission invitation form in order to attend. You
can get the permission form from Mr. Pearson anytime in room 212.
