Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area is the first of the new “Eight Views of
Yangcheng”, the national 5A level scenic spot and the national key
scenic spots. It is located in the northeast of Guangzhou City and is
one of the famous mountains in South Guangdong. It has been known
as the “first show of Yangcheng” since ancient times. The mountain is
quite wide and consists of more than 30 mountain peaks. It is the
branch of the Jiulian Mountain, the highest peak in Guangdong. With
an area of 28 square kilometers, the main peak of Mount Daoxing is
382 meters high. The peaks and peaks overlap, and the rivers are

Traffic

Geographical environment
Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area is located in the northern part of
Guangzhou City, about 17 kilometers away from the urban area. It is
the southern extension of the Jiulian Mountain Range and is known as
the “First Mountain of South Vietnam”. Baiyun Mountain covers an
area of 28 square kilometers. Its highest peak, Mount Daxing, is 382
meters above sea level and is the highest peak in Guangzhou. It is said
that every autumn, there are often white clouds rising, making the

Since ancient times, Baiyun Mountain has always been a famous
scenic spot in Guangzhou. In the history of the eight scenic spots in
Yangcheng, “Jihu Yunying”, “Baiyun Evening”, “Pujianyuquan” and
“Jingtaiguigui” are all in Baiyun Mountain. Baiyun Mountain Scenic
Spot is divided into seven tourist areas, namely: Mingzhulou Tourist
Area, Moxingling Tourist Area, Mingchun Valley Tourist Area, Santai
Ridge Tourist Area, Wuhu Tourist Area, Feigeling Tourist Area, Heyi
Ridge Tourist area. In the district, the peaks are overlapping, the

Wuhu Tourist Area
Wuhu Tourist Area is the first tourist area at the southern end of
Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area. Built in 1958, Wuhu Park is located in
the south of Baiyun Mountain. There are lakes, curved bridges,
pavilions and temples on the edge of the lake. It is named Wuhu Park.
Covering an area of 3.7 square kilometers, the scenery is beautiful,
the flowers are bursting, the birds are screaming, and the scenery is
natural. It is the largest open and multi-purpose park in Guangzhou.
It is also a famous tourist area integrating culture education, leisure
and entertainment, fitness and food.

Guangzhou (East Lake, Liuhua Lake and Liwan Lake).
Jufangyuan
Jufang Garden, located on the north bank of Wuhu Lake, is a shaded
botanical garden in the mountains. Covers an area of 400,000 square
meters. Opened in 1984. In the park, there are many attractions such
as Zhiyi Pavilion, Hongjun Building, Shuxiang Hall, Yinsheng Plant
Ornamental Area and Hexiang Pond. A park with the theme of

7. Zhiyi Pavilion
The plantation hall was formerly known as Banshan Pavilion, also
known as Cuiyun Pavilion. It is a two-story Chinese-style pavilion
building. It covers an area of about 110 square meters, with a total
construction area of 130 square meters and a top height of about 12
meters. The pavilion has a novel shape. In 1987, Guangdong Province
and Japan’s Hyogo jointly established a friendly province, planting a
friendship tree in the grassland before the pavilion.
Hong Yi Lou
Hongyi Building is a five-story Chinese-style pavilion with a floor
area of 158 square meters and a building area of 548 square meters
with a total height of 24.5 meters. It is a large classical building in
Guangdong Province. Built in 1987, in terms of its architectural
height, it is the crown of garden architecture since the liberation of
Guangzhou, so it is called “the first floor of the Pearl River Yunshan”.

Xinghai Park
Xinghai Park was built to commemorate the people’s composer Qi

children’s playgrounds. On December 1, 1985, Comrade Xing Xinghai’s
ashes were transported from Beijing to Guangzhou and buried in the
park.
The front of the park is a quartzite monument. Its height is 1.5
meters. The front is engraved with the inscription of Comrade Mao
Zedong, “To the people musician Comrade Xing Xinghai,” and the
back is the inscription written by Lu Wei.
On the right side of the tomb is the Xinghai Memorial Hall, which
mainly introduces the life of Xing Xinghai, with photo manuscripts.
The work shows the creative career of Comrade Xing Xinghai.
On the left is the Xinghai Haiting, the terminal and the square high
platform, and the half-stone statue of the Xingxinghai is placed on it,
which is about 1.5 meters high. In 1993, Xinghai Park was designated

Municipal People’s Government.

People often use “Baiyun Zhuhai” to refer specifically to Guangzhou.

Baiyun Mountain was approved by the Guangdong Provincial
Government as the first batch of provincial-level scenic spots. Some
party and state leaders such as Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Dong Biwu, Deng
Xiaoping, Chen Yi, Tao Zhu, Guo Moruo, etc. have all come here for
sightseeing, squatting and receiving foreign guests. There is a special
tour bus in Baiyun Mountain. It runs along the winding road and goes
back to the top of the mountain park and the first peak of Tiannan.
There is also a mountain cableway. There are a variety of restaurants
and services in the mountains, as well as a simple stove for people to
picnic and roast. It has become a famous tourist attraction in the
