 No spaces
 Try to use your name
 If you have a blog name try to use it
 You can change it later

10.  If someone Mentions your Twitter handle,
reply to them with a Tweet that says “Thanks
for the mention!
 If someone Retweets one of your Tweets,
Reply to them with a Tweet that says “Thanks
for the Retweet!”
 If someone has been nice to you, retweet one
of their posts that you find interesting.
 Also add them to a list so you can keep track
of their post for future Retweets!

11.  How to follow – When you are on someone’s
profile, click the follow button.
 Come up with a Follower Plan
◦ What types of people do you want to follow?
 Follow people who are posting articles you want to share with
your followers
 Follow people that would be interested in the types of things
you are going to post
◦ Come up with a number of how many new people to follow
and do so on a regular basis.
◦ Make it a habit to check your new followers on a regular
basis and follow back unless they look creepy.
 Not all will follow you back. So do not feel
offended.

◦ Visit the profile of the first user you would like to add to
your list
◦ Click the person icon
◦ Select "Add to list“
◦ Enter some info of your list and choose whether others can
see it or whether it is private

 Add a Twitter list with one of your keywords
 Add a search column with your competitors
company name or Twitter handle

 Engage in your twitter community and the experts
you follow
