1. Mshindi KCB has
clear line of Organi-
sation structure and
that its top brass is
CEO, a Miss Bahati
Grace. (See picture
above). The CEO
works alongside
other personel who
include Persons in-
charge of marketing
department, cus-
tomer relations, Fi-
nance department,
Human resource
and Production de-
partment. (See
names in pg 2 and
pg 3).
This is a financial
institution whose
genesis dates back
on 2013. The word
“Mshindi” is a Swa-
hili word meaning
“the winner”. As
used in the tittle, it
stands to demon-
strate the Company’s
commitment to ren-
der unique and best
services to its custom-
ers. The letters
“KCB” stand for
Kenya Commercial
Bank, one of the
leading Banks in
Kenya. The KCB
has been our men-
tor as far as running
of Banks is con-
cerned. We have
had series of meet-
ings with them al-
ready and through
such meetings, we
were able to know
how to open ac-
counts to customers
and how to make
deposits with Kenya
Commercial Bank.
We have also man-
aged to secure
some important
documents which
have consequently
helped us to come
up with our own.
Thanks to John
Kyui, customer at-
tendant at the ser-
vice desk in KCB.

Inside this
Journey:
2. When this Training firm
opened its doors to cus-
tomers (in 2012), it was
purely analogue. Custom-
ers had to visit our offices
in order to get services
such as account opening,
depositing cash etc. (see
picture at back page). The
greatest challenge with
analogue is the slow
speed of communication.
This promted us to go
online and that made us to
start digitalizing our docu-
ments in 2013. Thanks to
David Ogiga,
for his consis-
tent advise on
how to do it.
First, our
company was
registered
with the
SCCF accord-
ing to Slovak
laws. When
we secured a
Slovak company ID, Bank
number and all official
documents, we
were then regis-

great challenge in using it.

This is because Kenya is
not having full membership
in PEN tools. (It should be
noted that the Slovak ac-

the internet banking).

3. Vol. 1.
This is a training firm that
imparts skills to students
on how to run business.
The students feel comfort-
able starting their own
business and market their
products. They learn to
take responsibility for the
actions made. More still,
the training firm acts as a
social media, bringing peo-
ple together hence in-
creasing scope of coop-
eration. The mutual coop-
eration is healthy for aca-
demic work and students
are put in a better position
to excel academically.

portunity to acknowledge the ef-
fort of Jakub Simek who helped in
the registration process by filling
in the registration forms for us.
Now, we are engaged to some 7
companies who opened account
with us and we still anticipate
more to join the rank by banking
with us.
However, we have managed to
go through some training with
Jakub Simek and Ivka Ulicna and
for now we can proudly say that
it’s no longer a monster that we
knew. Ivka prepared a Slovak-
English Dictionary for SCCF Inter-
net Banking which has taken us
great miles in using the tools. We
can now comfortably log in to see
the list of other companies from
all around the world. We are also
gradually learning how to lend
