chemically a glyceride of a fatty acid that is converted
into a soap by substitution of the glycerin with an
alkaline base. A fatty oil in contrast to volatile oil is
permanent and not capable of distillation.

sesame seeds (Sesame indicum).
• It is composed of following fatty acid:
Linoleic acid (41%)
Oleic acid (39%)
Palmitic acid (8%)
Stearic acid (5%) and other in small amount.
