Technology Action Plan
Needs Assessment:
Teachers are lacking the necessary skill to integrate different types of technology in
the classroom to increase student learning based of a campus wide survey and the
Texas STaR Chart. The STaR Chart explained the campus is primarily on a
developing tech level and the survey showed that teachers are on a basic level of
knowledge and skill when implementing new technology in the classroom. For my
campus to be inline with the Long Range Technology Plan, we need to increase the
use of technology in the classroom.
Goal:
To have all teachers trained in and using proven teaching strategies of the
integration of technology in the classrooms to increase their level of knowledge and
skills as well as student achievement.
