Zeus was the king of the gods in Greek mythology. He ruled the sky and earth from his home atop Mount Olympus. Zeus had power over lightning bolts and thunder and was known for his great strength. He was born to the Titans Kronos and Rhea and succeeded both his father and grandfather, Uranus, as the ruler of the heavens.

just as Hera is Zeus' sister-wife, Rheia
was Kronos' sister-wife, so Zeus'
grandparents are Gaia & Ouranos.

mountains. Although Zeus was the ruler and
preserver of the world he had many human
weaknesses like he could be jealous.
