Zero Waste is a philosophy originated in 2004 by the Zero Waste International Alliance to redesign resource life cycles so that all products are reused. It aims to guide lifestyles and practices to emulate sustainable natural cycles in an ethical, economical, and visionary way. Examples of zero waste include vehicles with ecological responsibility, green construction projects, reusable glass milk bottles, and biodegradable plastics. The document expresses the opinion that zero waste is very efficient and ecological, and can make the world better.
