What are Y’s Youth Clubs? 
• Open to young people between 15 - 30 years of age. 
• Youth do not pay any dues (Regional, Area or International). 
• They provide a safe place for youth to grow was individuals and as teams. 
• It is an approach to teach, by active participation, that fulfilment is part of volunteer 
service. 
• They are a platform for youth who have a devoted passion to serve their 
communities and to support local and international YMCAs. 
• Intended to facilitate the transition of young people to Y's Men's Clubs.
Why become a Y’s Youth?

Y’s Men International 
• The objective is to help the community. 
• Fellowship. 
• Y’s men is a group of people from different religions working together 
according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. 
• Why do we bring Y’s Men international up? Because we need to know where 
we started, and we need to acknowledge that together the Y’s Men and Y’s 
Youth working together would bring us closer to our goals and visions.
What are the Y’s Men? 
• The aim is to together serve the people. 
• Motto “To acknowledge the duty that accompanies every right”. 
• Vision 2022 “To be a recognised, globally oriented, voluntary service organisation 
with a strong and committed membership that strives to enhance human values, 
with special focus on youth development, while upholding our motto “To 
Acknowledge the Duty that Accompanies every Right” and working in active 
service and close partnership with the YMCA, the United Nations and other worthy 
organisations to build a better world in which to live.” 
• Did you know Y’S YOUTH had a HUGE part in creating Vision 2022!
Our History 
• Founded in USA in 1922 to support a local YMCA 
• Oriented to serving the worldwide YMCA, the largest non-governmental 
youth organisation, and through it the 
communities in which it is present throughout the world. 
• Today women can be full members of our movement 
• Family participation is encouraged! 
• Today Y's Men International has almost 1,500 clubs with 
around 28,000 members in 72 countries on all continents. Judge Paul William Alexander,

Our partner The YMCA 
• The YMCA works to bring social justice and peace to young people and their 
communities, regardless of religion, race, gender or culture. 
• Advocates globally on issues affecting young people in collaboration with, and on 
behalf of YMCAs. 
• Develops programmes to promote youth leadership. 
• Coordinates YMCA emergency response efforts. 
• Y's Men Clubs is a service club that raises funds to support the work of YMCAs. 
• World YMCA has observer status on our International Council.
How does it work?

Programmes 
STEP 
• The Short term Exchange 
Programme (STEP) is an 
exchange programme offering a 
3-11 week stay with a host 
family in another country or 
region of your own country. 
YEEP 
• The Youth Educational 
Exchange Programme (YEEP) 
is a 12-month educational 
student exchange programme. 
Experience the culture, 
customs and language of the 
people of another country. 
LINC 
• LINCS stands for Local & 
International Network 
Communication System and is 
meant to be a platform for clubs 
all over the world to support one 
another with friendship, 
cooperation, cultural exchange 
and mutual support.
Youth Intern 
• Open to youth ages 22-27 in a Y’s Youth Club, a Y’s 
Men Club, or in the YMCA for a minimum of 2 years 
• This opportunity will provide you with: 
 a cross-cultural learning experience, 
 an increased knowledge of Y's Men and YMCA 
structures and functions 
 an independent living experience 
• Areas of involvement include: 
 Preparation of the 2016 International Youth 
Convocation in Taipei, Taiwan, 
 Publication of "Youth World" 
 Preparing youth materials and support, 
assistance, 
 Coordination and facilitation of the 
International Youth Committee in regards to 
growth and personal development planning.

How to start a Y’s Youth Club? 
• Basics: 
• Minimum of 15 members 
• Age, from 15 to 30 years old 
• Y’s Men Club has to sponsor the club. 
• Contact your Area Youth Representative (AYR) or the Youth Intern (YI) at 
intern@ysmen.org
International Youth Convocation 
• Can you imagine 84 participants from 26 different countries representing all 
9 YMI Areas? Well, it happened! 
• For one week youth participated in various sessions and excursions and 
enjoyed Indian food, while making many new lifelong friends along the way! 
• Every year there is an Area Convocation 
• Every two years there is an International Youth Convocation 
• Next International Youth Convocation: Taiwan 2016
