8. 1. UPLOAD THE VIDEO TRAILER
✘ TRAILER VIDEO: short video on your main
page (preview about your channel,
corporate video or the best/last video)
✘ TRAILER VIDEO DESCRIPTION: Info about
your page, company and social media
channels URL + website URL
✘ HOW TO ADD A TRAILER VIDEO? Go on
your main page and click on pencil icon

✘ Create the playlists and add them on
your main page
✘ PLAYLIST SUGGESTION: Recent
uploading, recommended videos,
specific product videos, special event,
commercial videos, etc.
✘ HOW TO CREATE A PLAYLIST? Just go on
«Playlist» section and upload a new one!

✘ Apply for custom URL!
✘ If your channel is in “good standing”,
have more than 100 subscribers and you
added your channel art – you’ll display it
✘ HOW TO APPLY FOR IT? Just go on
«advanced account settings» section
and claim your custom URL

✘ Add more info about your company
(long description + important links)
✘ Add all your social media + website links
again (after you can display them on the
channel art)
✘ HOW TO CHANGE: just go on «about»
section and click on the pencil icon

✘ Add your logo to your videos
✘ Keep this logo on that side for the entire
lenght of your video
✘ Users when click on it can subscribe to
your channel

1- click on «youtube settings»

4- add your logo and the display time

✘ Add the channel keywords in order to
get a better result in terms of YT ranking

15. NAMING YOUR VIDEOS (TITLE, TAG, DESCRIPTION)
✘ TITLE: (NAME OF THE YT ACCOUNT) – (TITLE OF THE VIDEO)
(first name of the account and then title of the video)
✘ DESCRIPTION: Add 3/4 sentences where you explain the video content
and add some links such as your webpage or other webpages (i.e. auto show webpage)
✘ TAGS: add at least 10 tags for each video (Go to Video Manager)
TIPS:
• SET AS DEFAULT: you can set the title,
description and some tags as default in
order to be faster («upload defaults»
section)
• You can also add some notes during the
video in order to remind the users to
subscribes

16. THUMBNAIL AND CARDS
✘ CUSTOM THUMBNAIL: change your thumbnail and test an eye-catching
pict with: 1- Right size: 1280×720 or 1920×1080; 2- Add text: including the
video title on your thumbnail; 3- Add a border: around your thumbnail
can also catch viewers’ attention
✘ ADD CARDS: Showcase features of a single product within a video (I.E. you
can suggest other videos or playlists to generate follow-on engagement
in your channel)
