Who is this course for?  This course is for students: Who have a passion and enjoyment for  Visual Arts   Who are highly able art students  W ho want to expand their appreciation of the role of Visual Arts in our society
Where will this course lead you? This course is designed to develop your: Creativity Increasing autonomy in practical and theoretical  understanding, knowledge and skills Initiative in undertaking academic work A bility to work independently and collaboratively A ppreciation of Visual Arts and contemporary  art practice
Develop a  deeper understanding of the content  –  subject matter, forms and frames – of the Visual  Arts through experience in each of the practices of:  Art Making Studies Art Critical Studies  Art Historical Studies This course allows you to:
Year 11 and 12 Visual Arts aims to: Enrich   your understanding of the Visual Arts in contemporary and past worlds;  Develop   your art making skills and representation of ideas and images with different materials, techniques and processes; Challenge   you approach to work in order to develop your creativity, technical skills, concepts, communication and presentation skills; Develop  an informed point of view about art and understand how artworks are made, valued, interpreted and used; and Excite   your imagination and your expectation of yourself
